During WWII, its naval/marine infantry fought on many fronts, including in Stalingrad, because the main fleet was tied up in the Baltic. I don’t know where the Black Sea fleet was based after the fall of Sevastopol: maybe in Batumi?

Yet to get the DLC but this has motivated me to do so. Love the scale of this battle and enjoyed the finale.
My favourite kind of map to watch is like the Hornet's Nest one where it's big but long rather than wide. I'm a sucker for choke point fights

Sevastopol, I presume, is still Sevastopol today. It's one of the main Soviet naval bases that was then handed over to Ukraine in 1991.
