Looks like the 23rd Psalm..."TheLord is my Shepherd " prayer ❤....nice finds at such a beautiful place! Lol after I zoomed in I see it not English, but that is what came to mind, ya never know!?!
I thought the same.
Thinking of going there soon for the aviation factor, will take my detector seeing as you are allowed to detect there!! great video!
Cheers John. What a place. Our beaches are shingle here around Portsmouth. From Lanark originally and Ayr beach was our summer trips. Scotland has many wee gems. It really does. Did a stag in Perth where we went canyoning and white water rafting. Lovely place too 🙂
Excellent job!!!!
I was given a charm Iike that in 1979 in Australia and it had belonged to an elderly Scottish friend of my mums. So if I am correct, it is missing it's other half. It is a bible locket when closed looks like an old book and when opened on 1 side it has prayer on it and on the other side / page, mine had a little girl kneeling in prayer.
I found rusty nails on one of the beaches on Vatersay on my holiday last year, the 1st time i been to the isle of Barra and had my metal pin pointer it got some sand in it when it was going off by the water where i was looking for some treasure that dated back to Ruari the Turbulent era. You also never know if you'll find Viking treasure there from a Viking burial when they were around the outer Hebrides back in those days.
Amazing content my friend as always you're so detailed in all your finds it helps me loads 👍
Thanks
Beautiful beach! I want to live there. Great helpers also.
Great work.. and exciting to find so much treasure .. 😎✌🏻
Always I enjoy your videos, finds, and your knowledge of history. Alice’s toes stole the show, though!
I usually don't pay much attention to videos about beach hunting, but your beautiful Barra beaches remind me of the beaches where I'm from in the northern part of Norway, so I happily make an exception. Great finds as well. 🙂
Another great video, I really appreciate your historical knowledge, keep up the good work!!
John, love the scenery and the history. Thanks for sharing and I need to visit Scotland, especially those beaches. The kids appear to have brought out the gold and silver. Cheers!
Another great video thanks for sharing.
Nice hunt nice ring I enjoyed the video, will catch you on the next one one 🇺🇸
Cracking video as always John.
Great work as always
Many thanks
Very nice ring!
You and your family did quite well on Berra. See you on the next
I liked Alice's technique of rounding up the sand while Ewan had the carrot. Very nice coin! That watch was stellar! Good job, John! It also looked like there is an inscription on the inside of the wedding ring.Let us know if you were able to return it to the chap who lost it.
Hail Hail the celts, it's Paul in Dublin, I am using my Mam's old tablet so her name might appear.l always knew you were celts fan.but I love your videos and your knowledge of history
Fantastic dig John, what finds! Watch looks like it just needs a new battery? Regards, John.
No water nearby??? John your are on a Beach🤣🤣🤣 Sadly the Watch isn't a Highend Watch could have paid for the
Holidays! Ring looks like 18K gold with
That colour Thanks😜🔝❤️
Brought to you by XB DEUS 11 😏🤑🤑🤑
Looks like the lord's prayer on that locket.
You need a sand scoop !!
Hey what club are you in in the Perth area, I am new to detecting and live near Kinross and am looking for a good group to learn more of this hobby.
I have bought the nakto makro legend pro.....
Have done beaches local to me but would love to try the fields in bonnie Scotland...
Any feedback would be welcome 🙏
My advice would be not to join a club, far too many inflated ego's and to be honest I am not sure if there are any in Perth but each to their own. I know a farmer near Balado and I will try and get you on, I got the permission a while ago but have never found time to get on it, that's a cracking detector to start your hobby with.
@@Muirton66 that would be much appreciated and would look forward to some
Learning on a hobby I have fancied doing for years.
Cheers..
shilling = 5p The silver 1948 was taken out-
No anglers??
Good day Mr
A shilling is 12 pence
Known as a Bob
In 1969 it would by you 4 giant sized Mars bars
Todays equivalent 5p
Looks to be a Bible charm from a charm bracelet with either a Bible verse or the Lord’s Prayer-couldn’t quite make it out.
Yep.Gold. Nice.
23rd Psalm of King David.
shilling worth 12 pennce
Maybe a Bible verse
You are right. It is indeed
