Roy is the first singer I really liked or should I say taken in musically in a real sense at around 6 maybe 7 years old with the song Only the Lonely. I found it in my mother's record collection. I have loved his music ever since and I am 61 years old now. I was just listening to Beautiful Dreamer which is so simple and short really but the way Roy sings it is painfully Beautiful. Even though I still sing karaoke, sadly those days of most of the high notes are gone, but I did it! And it's like they say, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!"
