I STILL can't believe he played the bass player in GREAT BALLS OF FIRE. I knew I recognized him from somewhere when I 1st saw that movie and it wasnt till I saw my cousins concert scrapbook and he had a picture from an X concert. I had looked through that thing a million times before and when it clicked, I just thought HOLY SHIT!!!! IT'S JOHN FCKIN DOE!!!!

I just love him as he is, wouldn't change a thing ever in his life. Shouldn't say this about another man.

X transcended Labels......They were a force of nature that could bring out the best and worst people had to offer....they were beyond any "pigeon holed" category....They were just.......X.

John Doe looks like Pappy Sawyer, the dad from Texas Chainsaw Massacre, now. Cool.

Hey Sam. I think I met you a few times in the late 80's. My best bro was a guy named Chris, (won't say his last name), but he lived in Sunny Hills with his dad, and had a skateboard half pipe in his back yard. If you are who I think you are, you were pretty good friends with him, and you were pretty heavy into photography. I went to HS with Chris but he was 2 grades ahead of me, but we ran into each other at Cypress College, and were great friends until he passed from an enlarged heart in 2011. I only met you a few times at Chris's, and he had a dog named Duke at the time, if that rings a bell. Big yellow dog with funny ears.

I got my Masters degree as a punk, but there's tons of punk PhDs. Sid Vicious caused society to sort of underestimate our intelligence.

You got quite a little enterprise going here......You're going through a bottle every thirty minutes, you're skimming the till for six shots a bottle, on draughts one every ten. Now I figure he's costing you 150 a night......So consider it severance pay, take the train.
