Pietro was out of question, since he'd already appeared in Days Of Future Past. And Fox wasn't planning to do anything with an overpowered character like Wanda. So Marvel got the rights to Wanda. And they had to kill Quicksilver in that movie. Understood?

I would say that he ruined the franchise, all background characters and some overused characters would have died, cyclops would have more motivation to become a leader figure, they would have revenge as a motivation to take down apocalypse, not just to rescue the Professor (they did not knew he was planning to destroy the world)
Apocalypse would have been more memorable and his actions would have consequences... If quick silver came a little late and saved like, 4/5 half burned characters he would think that "i was not fast enough" or something like that, giving him more character depth that "i want daddy"
May i say this... It would have been a much better movie, the scene was amazing, but if it did not happened like that, this movie would have been borderline amazing.

This is the sickest and the coolest scene the quicksilver has ever got. It perfectly portrays what quicksilver is really capable of and is such a badass character. Also with the background music, its like the cherry on top of the cake. Perfect! Just Love it. Evan Peters is so perfect for this role.

I love that no one thanks him; but he's totally cool about it. There are a lot of villain backstories where they were once underappreciated heroes who were passed over, but Quicksilver just keeps saving everyone just cause it's right. The span of that explosion enveloping that mansion was less then 3 seconds.
He managed to not only save everyone in it, he saved the pets as well, and did it so casually.
He only ever went his top speed to search the mansion in the beginning to find the explosion. And when he did, he proceeded to save everyone in a casual speed, almost playful.
Meaning he saved everyone, all while not in his top speed.

In the end, isn't his power really time and not speed? I doubt they did that intentionally, but I still like the concept.
It just doesn't make sense. He could drink the liquid from the soda while the explosion still was in slow-motion. Either this is a plothole, or he somehow has the power to slow down the time of certain objects, which i highly doubt.
@@rasdos3889 He has the power to warp time around him as well, think of it like this he's at a certain speed and he's saving people right, but he's also able to tap into more speed at anytime (which slows down time even more for proximity) he wants to do kinda stuff you've mentioned. (drinking,moonwalking, etc.) Bunch of Yt channels already discussed about this, you should check out those videos.

soul, mind and space are generally safe as we see a lot of that happen. the reality is more volitile consider it is more liquidish sort and the time stone i wouldn't touch directly either but that is more out of caution so that you aren't affected. power stone is just what you need to power all the stones
