I struggled with the decision more about the price I think. It’s already ordered and I did lots of research for belts too and I already received my Kore belts(I bought 2, both being different colors) as well. So for me this is a little late but appreciate the video. If I had researched the holster as well as I did the belt I would have seen your video earlier. Great content and it addressed my concerns perfectly. So it’s still appreciated because I do feel better after watching your video. I have already started wearing my Kore belt and I agree it’s way better for my EDC. I wasted money on other belts before I went deeper on my research. Your video will help save some people money. If I had watched your video first you would have addressed my concerns and saved me a total of about $240! (Between the other holsters and belts I bought that didn’t work for me). Great content and I am subscribing right now! Thanks Brother!

Yes, it's worth the money. I've had an Axis Slim since 2018, and love it. I've had 3 other AIWB holsters and they have been converted into velcro backpack / fanny pack holsters. My buddy went with the T-Rex with the sidecar and he eventually got the T1C, if that tells you anything.
I will add that you should get the XL wide wedge. The regular, and even the regular wide, were too narrow for me and I ended up removing them and making my own wedge out of Dr. Scholl's HEEL CUSHIONS.

@@rjlewis8346 I don't think he disliked the Trex, but T1C was so popular that he gave it a try and liked it more. But this was years ago before the Trex had the option for changing out the side car to either magazine or TQ carrier. I think that's cool, because in most situations a TQ is more needed than an extra magazine. I don't think you can make a bad choice between the two.

I have an axis slim, and I feel safe that the trigger isn't going to go off when wearing a seat belt, or if I have to bend over to pick something up. 140$ for peace of mind that I won't shoot myself is worth the cash.
Also I've had hernia surgery near my groin, and I'm still able to appendix carry in relative comfort.
I used to carry on strong side iwb. But it would tweak my back when I sat in a chair. And the grip would get caught in restaurant chairs. I'm very happy with the appendix carry position.

I've been rocking a Black Rhino Concealment ACS for about 2 years and it's been fine, but I've been looking for a customizable appendix holster that will work with my S&W M&P m2.0 Compact with a threaded barrel, thumb safety, Streamlight TLR-8AG, and Holosun red dot WITH a sidecar for an extended Floyd's Custom shop sidecar...I'm absolutely floored that Tier 1 literally checks ALL of these boxes AND is comfortable...AXIS Elite looks to be the move great overview!

The holster is fine. The thing that bothers me the most about Tier 1 is the un believable wait times. The last holster I ordered from them (which will be the last one I ever order) took over a month to get to me. I even tried to cancel the order after it was a week past when they said I would have it and I was told "Sorry, no cancelations 24 hours after placing the order". REALLY 24 hours and you can't cancel the order. I ordered a T. Rex Arms holster three weeks after my Tier 1 Holster and the T.Rex Arms holster made it to me first. Not to mention Kydex is Kydex. There is nothing special about their holsters. The company has been around long enough to have figured out how to get their product out faster. They just choose not to. Don't waste your time on them.

Tier 1 holsters are custom made to order, that’s why they take so long to get to you, they have a production period aka lead time, and they operate during business days 8-5 and then after the lead time they ship you your holster, which also takes a while to get to you, you should research a company before you shit talk them if there was a delay and they made a mistake yeah be mature about it and have customer service handle it not whine about it on CZcams

Got mine recently, and I'm a little disappointed. I don't see what the hype is all about. I wasn't impressed with the fit and finish, especially for a holster that took a month to get to me. The clips are incredibly cheap looking and have a cheap feel, not saying that they'll fail, but the cheap feel means something when you spend your hard earned money.
The inside of the holster feels unpolished, almost the same feel as "over spray" from a poor paint job, which is already causing abrasions to the frame of my gun. Not necessarily a deal breaker, but I just expected a little more. It's not a very comfortable holster either, I bought a strong side holster that actually feels better in the appendix position (I'll chalk that one up to personal preference) Like so many holsters that are made these days for strong side carry, it's got that weird built in "FBI cant," that's just unnatural and awkward. It also has what I consider a design flaw. While practicing, I'll routinely experience my shirt getting caught up on the belt clips. (I'll chalk that up to operator error) but I've noticed on far less expensive holsters that the belt clips are designed with the clips facing outward and away at the very tips so that clothing always clears the holster and gun completely. I will say that it typically happens with shirts that are thinner. Heavyweight tee shirts or thicker shirts like sweatshirts and hoodies don't seem to get caught up at all.
Overall, I feel like you could do a little better for a lot less money, and you can do A LOT better for a little less money. Definitely not worth the money.

I love my Axis Slim, but this hoster is one of my least favorite and it is not comfortable at all. No audible click when seating my G19 with TLR7. Hate the holster overall and it now sits in a pile of other rubbish holsters. I actually called Tier 1 about the pistol not locking into the holster and they said it won't click with a light on the gun. BS as all of my other holsters click when the pistol seats, including my Axis slim. Between that and the uncomfortable nature of this holster, I have been buying other brands and some are just as good for half the price. I haven't found something better than my Axis rig for my 509s though.

    @gradywb Před 11 měsíci

Not worth the price one bit and honestly my Axis Slim is pretty cheap feeling compared to my Legacy Firearms Cronus which I felt wasn't really cutting it yet after purchasing my T1 holster, the Cronus is a better concealing holster, more comfortable, and far less $$.
Speaking of concealing, the flimsy claw system on the T1, along with the belt clips being made out of similarly flimsy plastic, is hot trash. I like the adjustable stack design of T1's claw, but that is it.
On my Cronus, I opted for the D.C.C. belt clip which is solid, doesn't give, but surprisingly comes off the belt easier than T1's plastic garbage. Also the claw on the Cronus with how it's molded, doesn't even flex half as much as the T1's.
Oh and I've even tried a wedge with the T1 and it only makes it more uncomfortable with very little if any concealment benefit.
In summation, ya live, ya waste money, and ya learn.
Yes btw I know I'm comparing a sidecar type holster with a standard gun only AIWB holster but my points are valid and 100% factual.
