I know this video is a couple of years old.. but still want to give my input. I am a 79 yr old male. I have developed some arturitus in a couple of my fingers and my 9mm is just a little tough to handle right now.. I have a TX.22 and keep it loaded with CCI Stingers. This is my home defense gun. My wife can still handle her 380 very well,, For my outside carry I use a S&W 351 PD .22 magnum loaded with Federal punch. I feel quite confident with either of these guns.

I only have about 200 rnds through my 3.8" but the trigger get better and better as time goes on.

I agree about the gen3 being the best generation Glock. I'm retired law enforcement fir whatever that's worth. However having had spinal neck surgery courtesy of a texting driver and sustained permanent nerve damage. I have grip strength issues now. My former duty weapon that carried up until retirement was a gen4 G22, I had difficulty retracting the slide. However I sold my G22 gen4 and purchased a new G17 gen3 and I do believe the recoil spring of the gen3 is easier to retract.

Rounds on target is the reason why so many Police departments are switching to 9mm. 22lr drives 32-40 grains per shot so roughly 3 rds to be equivalent to .380 or 4ish for equivalent weight of shot to 9mm. But in actual tissue distribution the Glock 19 has the potential to produce 16 .357 diameter holes or about 18 square inches of paper out of a target before you factor in any expansion. The tx22 with 16+1 you get about 12 square inches removed from the target. A .380 S&W EZ with 8+1 only does about 10 square inches but at least has the potential for expansion depending on ammunition selection

My glock 23.4 is an absolute tack driver and 100 percent reliable and trustworthy. It's a glock. Only thing I have done is put a johhny glock trigger shoe, and a ghost connector. It's my favorite edc by far.

I'm really surprised to come across this video I own a clock 23 Gen 3 and love it, I prefer the 40 cal over the 9 mm but where I get the strange looks is when I tell people that I carry a kahr CW 40 it is a much smaller and thinner weapon than the Glock and is very easy to conceal very accurate and reliable and both firearms have about the same recoil The kahr however only holds about 7 to 8 rounds with an extended magazine, again I'm surprised I'd do not know anybody that prefers a Glock 23 over a Glock 19,Great video.

Guys if you run a dot please go with Blake’s out front and rear. They can be tritium but have to be black outlined. You have a superior aiming device and all these bright sights do it distract you and your sight picture. Once I ran blacked out with my red dots it was a no brainer and should be the choice for red dot buis. No dot run wild with the colors but with a dot go all black!

This, FN510 and Smith and Wesson M&P10 are the firearms I am looking at for bedside home defense firearm. Since reliability is the most important feature I have ruled out the M&P10 and am down to FN510 or XDM Elite. I will plan on running optics and light, probably TLR-1HL with Holosun 507C-GR. EDC for me is Shield Plus with TLR-6 and Tulster holster.

You are wearing it right at the highest part of your abdomen. Move it 1 inch to the right and add the claw and it will melt away to hide perfectly. I wear mine at the 3 o'clock strong side and I love it. I liked it so much I bought the belt loops to make it OWB and switch them out depending where I carry. Disclaimer - I live in California, so I can only open carry on my acreage.

I haven't watched the video yet but wanted to share my experience. I shoot 17hmr for pest control so I have a lot of experience with each round. Disregarding accuracy which is subjective the TNT had a very fast expansion, perfect for small birds. The Vmax tended to be the more explosive of the two offerings however. On the same small size birds and the larger pests such as armadillo. The tnt does shoot better in my rifle, but the vmax has been utterly devasting.
