Just came across this channel because of the Louis Vuitton video. Thanks for not letting a big name push you around. A little tip worth considering. I don't do leather work, but my machines in my machine shop often require custom gaskets made. The punch works well for the inside corners but for clean and consistent outside corners, buy a decent gasket punch kit then grind half the punch out for half circles and all but 90 degress away from the punch for outside corners. It sure saves from freehanding outside small corners.
For the magnetic snap on the front, would it be better to have some backing on the other side so credit cards don't get damaged when users slide cards in and out?
I really like this design but magnets and mag stripes ( credit, debit cards ) do not play well together. Thank you for posting some of my favorite leatherwork content!
