Join me, Denny Salvage, as we walk down memory lane in outdoor museums of automotive history. We look for that "Gold Mine" of a parts car or that restorable "Gem in the Rough". In every episode we highlight several such treasures. Occasionally one of these "Gems" comes back to the shop for an upgrade as we "Bring 'Em Back To Life". I look at the old cars and wonder where it's been, who rode, drove, owned it. I think about the good times and the bad times it took the occupants to where they needed to go.
If the old cars could just talk, there would be a ton of interesting stories to tell.
You've got that right Norman! I attempt to create 'memory candy' for viewers for that reason. (The fond ones). Also, Joe Pep in North Carolina who was an illustrator for Hemmings Motor News now has a weekly radio show on Wilmington's BIG TALKER 106.7 FM station called 'Every Car Has A Story'. I often wonder the same thing. Two years back while traveling through Oregon we came across an old wrecking yard. I stopped to make a video of the amazing collection of cars there. A 1957 Oldsmobile 88 came into the yard. This car was 100% original and in good driver condition. No dents good interior and best of all it ran beautifully. I got to video tape the car while the engine was running. So quiet you could barely tell. Anyway looking at a car that shared the road with the very cars seen here and knowing that this one survived 59 years. I had just driven through six states, and I just imagined what that same trip would have been like all those years ago. Cheers to all of the people who were lucky enough to be alive at the time to make those memorable trips in these iconic cars, motor courts, diners and everything else along the way.
i had a few I wish I kept ! I had a 55 dodge coronet, a 53 Packard clipper, a 54 chevy, a 60 fairlane and a 61 falcon ! they would be worth something if I kept them !

I do not have any direct contact with Charlie at Angels Towing on Oahu, Hawaii. I was driven there by a local. Charlie told me he doesn't ship anything off the island. Bring them back to life so far all I've seen you do is to Chevy's 57 m-104 Comet we got to do more than just Chevys the Huntsman are the 63 Galaxy would have been better choices in my opinion not that I don't like the 57 and not she don't deserve to be back on the road it's just that the others do too your fan
??? A fake in my opinion. A nearly complete car with full tires and almost no rust on the structure parts?? Also not sunken into the ground or parked between trees and and and!?!? Who should believe this?
