Tambur related instruments were surely used by Khusrow, but there is no historical mention that indicates it was a Sitar.
Another case is the Tabla, many attribute it to Khusru (not same as Khusrow). However, temple carvings from 7th century and the Bhaja cave paintings show that the instrument already existed.

the art and beauty of raag and karnatic music is so deep and inspiring, as a shia Muslim from the sub-continent we incorporate a lot of gheet in our recitation of hymns, and the beautiful manner of modulating the melodies (i.e: shree, marwa, malkans, lalit, etc) brings about a sense of beauty in tragedy. the story of karbala is eternal in its essence of divinity, and coupling the narration of that story through the cartic means just brings it somewhat of a justice. i seek to delve into this world of karnatic art and expression.

Nothing could be further from the truth. I love seeing musicians that behave like the tabla player. It's so awesome seeing musicians get into their music. He looks like he is having a lot of fun, and it's honestly pretty contagious.

Its because some (most) of the classical Indian music is dedicated towards God, so it may be considered as 'rude' when someone expresses themselves excessively. That being said, the line between 'cockiness' and devotion is very thin, you may observe some artists like Aruna Sairam, Kaushiki Chkraborty, Dr Jayanthi Kumaresh etc and feel the devotion sprinkling and connecting with the audience. Some artists like to keep in discipline of some sorts, if you may call it so, as devotion can be characterized by 'inertia' or 'gravitas' or 'strength' of emotion as per some cultural mythological beliefs in some schools of classical music. Tl;dr its a cultural thing more than having fun or not and overexpression is avoided.

It's the same in Western classical music. There are performers who move a lot and get really into it and there are performers who show almost no emotion while playing (Horowitz and Heifetz would be two famous examples). People often criticize the first type saying that they're making a show but in the end, the music is all that matters.

Should atleast once a week 30 mintius class only for listening to student for their interest or liking rising and after 5 th class teaching them as per their liking or taking aptitude test and trained them in Indian classical vocal or instrumentle apart from professional education . surely this generation became healthy and mentally highly rich.

What can I even say about this performance. Roopaji, as usual, peace personified. Her slight smiling face, calm demeanour, slight swaying of shoulders as she is playing effectively gels with the rag she is playing and adds to the peace and tranquility of the music played. Dalbir Singhji is fantastic on the tabla. The silent communication between the two musicians catches the essence of their joy in playing harmoniously and sync. On the whole, it has stirred the soul and emotions of the listener which is the primary aim of Indian ragas. Absolute delight and heaven on earth. Thank you SouthasianartsUK for uploading this and sharing with us.
