There was a lot of good detail in this first episode too it. Like there neighbors feeding the old lady biscuits and she was the one in their house to turn. Bc the fungus infected grain crops that’s how it spread so fast. Can see a new papers article about it in prologue of game.
Could you not put the video feeds of each other above or below your cameras so you're at least creating the illusion of eye contact with your audience? Basically use Jake Dekker as a reference, his appearance and setup was more on brand with the video production quality I'm used to seeing on GameSpot.
Yeah, I have to take the L on this one. My whole setup was different than normal, making things look a bit on in that regard. I should have it fixed going forward!

I think you should have put more spoiler warnings here. You definitely spoiled the ending for poor people who did not play the game. Bold choice...
You should have taken to opportunity to ask people to stop rating the season and start rating the episodes instead, when you talked about Metacritic.

What about the cinematography (camera work)? What about the music (sure, it's from the game)? The acting? Isn't Bella Ramsey exactly like Ellie is in the game prior to the skyscraper and (SPOILER) museum? (Ellie is not very likeable at the start of the game because she's super sassy, exactly like in the TV show.)
Didn't you think that Nico Parker's performance in the last scene was actually better than the original scene on PS3/PS4? I sure did.
