    How long can the bombs be at room temperature?
    Or should you store in fridge?
    Would like to make in advance. Thank you

      They will stay fresh for 2 weeks if stored at room temperature. They do not need to be refrigerated. If you do decide to refrigerate them, it's best to package them in a cardboard box. The cardboard will wick up any condensation so your chocolate won't get tiny drops of water on them.

      Awesome. May I keep them at room temp in a cardboard box or is plastic better for room temp?

      @@dcordero1984 I typically store them in an airtight container like a Rubbermaid or Tupperware container, but a cardboard box works fine too.

    Which brand of chocolate did you use in recipe? Recipe calls for milk chocolate, but it looks like dark. Is it possible to use dark or do half and half. Thank you

      Hi Christi, I recommend using either Callebaut semi-sweet chocolate (amzn.to/3qSZhCs) or Peter’s Burgundy Chocolate Bars (amzn.to/2LzfGMf). They are my two favorite brands of chocolate, but you can use any chocolate you enjoy eating.
      The recipe calls for using dark chocolate to make the shells and the chocolate ganache, but you can use milk chocolate or white chocolate if you prefer. You can also use compound chocolate (candy melts, melting wafers, or almond bark) to make the chocolate shells, but I recommend making the chocolate ganache using pure chocolate. It tastes better!

    Where did you get the cute white cups that the chocolate bombs are in?

      They are called wave cupcake liners and I ordered them from Amazon here (ad) - amzn.to/3eKxsHx

    How do you manage to drizzle the chocolate over the top without melting the bombs🙈 am I using the drizzle too soon

    • @HungryHappenings
      @HungryHappenings  Před 2 lety +3

      I use pure melted and tempered chocolate which is at 90 degrees Fahrenheit so it's won't melt the hot chocolate bomb when I drizzle it over the top. If you are using compound chocolate (candy melts, melting wafers, almond bark), be sure to let the chocolate cool slightly before drizzling it onto the hot chocolate bombs.

    But there’s no sugar..hot chocolate is supposed to be sweet…?
    That’d taste like biting into semisweet chocolate 🤢

    • @HungryHappenings
      @HungryHappenings  Před 2 lety +2

      There's sugar in the semi-sweet chocolate. The ganache seriously makes the most delicious hot chocolate you will ever taste!
