As always I enjoy your videos I’m in Perth and a very new beekeeper my question is what is the side of jar you put under the roof to feed your bees as there is not much flowering around here

Do you have to use a queen excluder between the bottom box and the flow super?

You should use one to keep brood out of the flow frames.

I believe the flow team do use a Queen excluder between the brood and the flow super. I run an ideal super between them and don’t have to run an excluder. However it depends on your bees and how their use the hive for storage. My brother has the same set up but has to use an excluder as his Queen does like to use the flow frames. I have 2 flow hives. This year lost all hives to yellow jackets. I have new 2 packages. Installed thenin5 frame flow frand deep. after 12 ldl d days they filled 5 frames. aded 5 frames to fi l l. When should i add a new sup er. Hi from usa
