    I own both the Pulsar 150 and hornet 160 r cbs version the only problem I feel in Pulsar is brakes are not good whereas hornet cbs version has the best brakes in segment ,but Pulsar in terms power delivery and fuel efficiency is best but bajaj auto after sales service is pathetic here Honda scores over Bajaj , driving hornet at 80 km /hr and Pulsar at 80km/hr you will feel hornet more stable even in cornering then Pulsar lastly I would end up saying Pulsar is a legend despite some drawbacks

    So the NS160 keeps up the name of NS200.
    Great bike. I guess the 160 can easily beat the FZ, gixxer and Hornet.
    I hope Bajaj adds a rear disk too.

    • @RevItUpMumbai

      Prices of bikes under 250cc will be decreased.
      It won't be a huge difference but still, it's good to see that Bajaj has offered NS in the lower segment.

      @rayyantisekar7388 Před 7 lety +1

      Raj for touring and long ride .....u should buy pulsar 150 as best in class mileage and power and also it has good ground clearance .....and the best part is the name adventure sport..

    • @RevItUpMumbai
      @RevItUpMumbai  Před 7 lety +1

      +Raj Yes 150 is quite old and sitting and other features it offers buying the ns160 makes sense but if you can increase your budget I would suggest buy ns200 which offers more than this just for 16k extra

      @ajinkya_3131 Před 7 lety +1

      Raj NS160 has more power on paper and along with the perimeter frame performance and handling will be significantly better than pulsar 150.
      Go for ns160 if it fits your budget, for touring you can comfortably carry higher speed than p150. For daily city commutes or for usage in rural areas pulsar 150 may make more sense because of higher FE, softer suspension and lesser price.

    My preferences
    1. Mileage
    2. Quality/Low Maintenance
    3. Comfort for me & back riders (Family)
    4. I dont care about the design or speed as I never do stunts/speed
    I need a good bike in 120-160cc segment, that should last me long coz i dont change bikes that often and if i buy any of this ill keep it for atleast 5-8 Years . So please suggest a good bike , & If anyone owns any of these bikes do share your personal review.
    Thank You.

      Sonam Nigar Bhai gixxer aur hornet ki rival hai
      On road 1 lakh toh hona hi tha, aur ye pulsar 150 ki replacement bhi nahi hai so tumhare budget mein tum pulsar 150 le sakte ho, us price mein kaafi achi bike hai vo. Cons bole toh design acha toh hai par abhi purana hua hai aur cornering nahi kar sakte is bike pe, uske liye apache 160 le sakte ho par vo jyada vibrate karti hai. Nahitoh thoda adjust karke unicorn 160 bhi le sakte ho, unicorn ka look badla, rear disc, lagaya aur torque kam karke bhp badhaya toh hornet ban gaya.

      Go with the Yamaha.
      Yamaha always make great and smooth machines. before buying Bajaj just do the test ride of FZ25. After taking test ride i dont think so you will ask someone to which one should I buy.

    • @RevItUpMumbai
      @RevItUpMumbai  Před 7 lety

      +Umesh Benake I do own a Yamaha from post 5 years tried and currently we've two Yamaha bikes in family. Answering his question no doubt about the build quality of Yamaha but the gearbox on fz25 is hard and tbh i did not liked the bike, the light spread is pathetic and ns200 is what I'll prefer over Yamaha. Coming hack to disability my brother rides as200 since past 3 years and did not faced any issues with that bike. To summit up I'll say it's not always about the bike brand but more of who rides it and how if you take care of your bike irrespective to its brand the bike will stay with you for a long time.

      kishore kumar thank you for your suggestion bro

    • @RevItUpMumbai
      @RevItUpMumbai  Před 7 lety

      +Cibi Karthikeyan Totally depends on the type of motorcycle and the weight distribution for sports bike the ratio is 70 front 30 rear (reason is that morr weight towards end and if you apply rear brake without abs tyres might lock but if you've got abs then apply both at the same time) coming back to commuters, normal city bikes it's advisable to apply 50-50 for better stopping and on scooters and moped (except motorscooter) every scooter has small rim size and small Tyre so front tyre is tend to loose it's grip so usually people use rear brake as the front drum does not provide adequate stopping power as more weight is on the back. I hope I answered your question and cleared the query. Ride Safe Brother.

    hello first of all . nice video.. i am 167 cm tall ..thats just a tad below 5'6" . as the dimensions of the bike are similar to ns 200 is it suitable for shorter riders ... and personally not a fan of bikes with skinny tyres ,, can the tyres be replaced with fatter one and if done so what may be effects on the bike??

    • @RevItUpMumbai
      @RevItUpMumbai  Před 7 lety

      +Koushik Arepally well you'll be able to adjust with the bike but visit nearest showroom and try it yourself. The rim is of ns200 you can install fatter rear tyre. Acceleration and fuel economy might affect as the fat tyre weights much. Ride Safe.

      +HARSH RAJ we do have a as200 since 2015 no issues with that. If you maintain it properly then it won't give issues.
