Jock stein was the greatest manager Scotland ever produced. This is a fact, beyond doubt, debate or argument.
What the Lisbon lions did is the greatest footballing achievement from a team from Scotland and arguably THE greatest Scottish sporting achievement of all time.

It's no up for debate is it not? So we're no allowed to debate the fact that it's a statistical fact that Alex Ferguson, by honours, is the most successful Scottish manager of all time? Outside of celtic what major honour did Jock Stein win? One Scottish cup wi Dunfermline. Compare that to Alex Ferguson winning the auld First Division wi St Mirren and his trophy laden spell at Aberdeen before ye even get to Man U.

@@MarcoNegrisEye Alex Ferguson himself says that Jock Stein was the greatest of them all. That'll do for me.

Respect to WS for dispelling some of the numpties in the crowd. Show some respect chiefs.

Might be because big Jock had his success with Celtic and the numpty shouts out an older Rangers manager.
Unfortunately that's the tribal nature in Scotland that holds our Fitba and country back.
Great interview by Walter. RIP big man, and RIP to big Jock too

Don't know. Just seems as if Walter is maybe a wee bit nervous/defensive speaking about Jock Stein given the company he is in. There will have been many in that room quite unwilling to hear what he had to say.

No one is duleded to think he wasn't the best manager in Scottish history. It's what he ignored at celtic to achieve that feat makes ppl sick and they don't want to hear it.
