Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think she was also originally supposed to be Sharon Carter, which was why they kept showing her, until the studio decided to go with another direction for the character and casted Emily VanCamp for Agent 13 Sharon Carter.

Funniest moment in the whole first Avengers movie is Loki getting ragdolled by Hulk. Even if I'm having a bad day, that moment never fails to make me laugh.

Not sure if you realised later but Loki can’t actually make himself dematerialise/teleport. His magic allows him to project images of himself which aren’t real, so that he can hide himself somewhere (like behind Agent Coulson) and gain an advantage. But he’s not actually teleporting or going translucent!

The nuke at the end was target locked, so if stark had let it go without physically pushing it all the way through the portal, there's a VERY good chance it would have just course-corrected and turned back around to hit the ground. He needed to make sure it was all the way through and out of range. 🤙

The Shwarma scene came about after RDJ ad-libbed about schwarma. According to an interview I saw with Chris Evans (I think), they literally came back together got in costume & filmed that right before they premier night of the movie. They totally tacked that on last minute. Makes it even better.
Chris Evans is covering his chin in that scene because he had grown a beard for Snowpiercer and they had to put a prosthetic on his chin to cover it up. It made him look ridiculous, so he put fist on his chin to cover it up, lol

Now I can say that the reason I suggested blue lights was to match the tesseract, Loki’s “fabulous” entrance, his sceptre, the blue brainwashed eyes and the big portal. God it was killing me to stfu up and not explain why haha
Also the reason why Loki looks a mess and is terrified of his convo with the creepy alien dude is because in between Thor and Avengers, he was imprisoned and tortured by the bad guy who gave him the sceptre. Loki is also under the influence of it (He does want to be King of everything but it’s amplified dramatically). Basically anyone who is near it gets affected (thus the avengers argue in its presence and Bruce holds it without realising). The Loki info isn’t explained in any movies but it’s mentioned in an official MCU database, added by the director (or maybe Kevin feige, I can’t remember). Loki also sheds a tear while fighting and arguing with Thor.

tbf marvel doesn't stick to logic from the start. Thor in his first movie was an asshole as well, literally knowing him for war and endless battles, invading Jotunheim (while Loki was against it), and he was like this for at least 1400 years and suddenly he had to turn good and all of his past was forgotten and forgiven. he even wasn't a broke character like Loki, he was literally a spoiled child.

When Thanos was revealed, the INSANITY that swept the pop culture world at that time in 2012 was NUTS. I watched this movie in the theaters 3 times, as I was an absolute FAN of Joss Whedon. Your perception of things (such as Loki appearing gaunt when we first see him and the sceptre “making him more evil”) is so intuitive of you because they are, in fact, hints as to the bigger villain later on in the franchise. So props to you!!!

49:55 No, the missile has a lock on Tony's tower, if Tony were to release it it would change its course again facing back down towards his building. And since the portal leads to outer space, the lock of the missile on Tony's building gets lost meaning either it will continue till it runs out of fuel before it explodes or it automatically explodes the moment the lock is lost. In this case the missile had a system where it would only explode when running out of fuel or hitting something.

Guardians of the Galaxy = The 2 best costumes to probably get are either "Starlord" or "Gamora." However, Gamora's skin is green
Avengers Age of Ultron = get either "Hawkeye" or "Hulk", seeing as those are the only 2 original Avengers that you haven't done yet
Ant-Man = get "Ant-Man"

Watching you watch this movie & the others leading up to it sparked some of that awesome feeling of watching them for the 1st time when I was younger. It's been out so long & I've seen it so many times that I think I can forget what it was like when the MCU was still new
The shwarma end scene was actually filmed last-minute on the day of the movie's NYC premiere. If you look closely at Cap, he's got his chin resting on his fist. That's because Chris Evans had grown a beard since principal photography had wrapped, so he had to cover his chin with his fist.
Seeing this again just made me really wanna rewatch the Loki show again and i really hope i get to see you watch that eventually too

Hulk smashing Loki into the floor repeatedly will always be one of the funniest moments in all the Marvel movies, I love repeating that scene. Also, the Hulk punching Thor when they're just standing there is hilarious. Can't wait for the other Avenger movies. I also can't wait for the Spider-Man movies (my favorite superhero), I also really love Natasha, she's so badass and Clint is also really impressive. I love that they don't have superpowers like the rest but they have some incredible skills.
