Good to see the tire wasn't an issue, and you got back to MT. Yes, you need camera's while driving to protect yourself from crazy drivers like that motorcycle.

Such a beautiful drive!! We have bought a few items at your suggestion and they have definitely helped us to have safe travels. Glad that you guys are feeling better. Patrick and I have been battling some kind of upper respiratory illness this past week. It seems like it’s going to hang on for a while. 😢

Those sensors, I tell you even on my 350 pickup they seem to be a problem.
This is the first problem we've had in over 7 years...it wasn't much fun!
I am glad you didn't have any real problems. Being stranded on the side of the road just isn't exciting.
Not our favorite place to be...it's just a bit stressful!

Oh man....not sure what YT is doing to these subscribe issues. We attend River Of Life Church while here. It's located in East Missoula and they have a Saturday night service as well as Sunday morning. If you see us please say hello!
Glad the TPMS issue didn't delay your trip too long. I-90 construction looks similar to last year's. We will back along that route in August after visiting family in the Seattle area.
Hopefully we got the TPMS working properly again. There seems to be two seasons in the NW...road construction and winter! Safe travels to you.

Those miss reads on th TPMS are common. We've had several in our travels. Either sudden rise in temperature or air pressure. Often, when it's so sudden and far-fetched, I will shut off the unit and restart it. It normally corrects itself.
Thanks. I never considered shutting off the head unit, but hopefully that will cure the problem.
We also rebooted ours on the fly when we got clearly false readings. That was a band aid, but ultimately we needed to send the head unit in for repairs.
We just had our first crazy reading on the TPMS as well... was it a full moon? Our sensors are inside the tire so I was not able to remove. Had to power down the head unit and restart. We sent a note to the support email of TST. Response was: Looking at the display the repeater is installed. Looks like you may had some type of interference that caused the high temp reading. You may also want to make sure that your bearings are greased properly. If you continue to have that issue please feel free to give us a call and one of our representatives will be happy to assist you. We did verify temperature and all was well. It happened one more time - power reset of the head unit and resolved it again. System is with the purchase of our 2021 5th wheel so it is 3 years old.
Interesting....this is the first glitch we've had in over 7 years with this TPMS, so it came as a surprise. Hopefully it's a one-time issue. Thanks for the info!

I know you guys love the outside and in nature , how are you about fishing ? Taking I-90 while crossing Idaho you should trying your hand at the Snake River , it has some great fishing for Rainbow Trout . It’s a North/South running river along the Continental Divide .
Thanks! We used to fish northern Idaho for steelhead many years ago on the Snake. It's beautiful country.
We stayed at a campground in Idaho last year close to Kellog. We went on the gondola up to the top of the ski resort and it was albsolutely beautiful! We love that part of the country.

We had repeated issues with our TPMS where sensors were intermittently saying crazy things. Had to send the main unit in for repairs.
This was the first time we've had issues with ours. Hopefully as others have mentioned, I hope it's the head unit and after resetting it we'll see how it works. Have a great weekend!

We have a love/hate relationship with the TPMS. You have to have one but you do get some false readings from time to time. Safe Travels!

I try not to go out in the heat too much unless it’s grocery shopping or church. But I go before it gets too hot.
Another great video. As folks who've traveled I 25 from Cheyenne to I 90 to Spokane several times, I'm wondering if you know if there are any elevations over 7,000 ft? I developed an issue after starting blood pressure medication 2 years ago, where my heartbeat skyrockets when I go over 7,000. Someone recently told me she doesn't think there is anything that high between Cheyenne & Spokane.
Thanks Edward. There are two passes if you come out of Cheyenne on I-25 to I-90 in Billings. Bozeman pass is between Livingston, MT and Bozeman and it's about 5700'. Homestake pass is just east of Butte, MT and it is about 6300'. Everything else is flat land but Butte is 5500', so you shouldn't have any issues. Have fun!

Carry a Laser Temp “gun” along with my fluorescent vest, exactly for times like that emergency stop. Unfortunately TPMS false alarms are not uncommon. However, just one “save” makes even multiple false alarms worth it.
Us too...but I've never seen the PSI jump like that. I was afraid I might have a bulge in the tire, but all seems good now.
When I saw you last for a brief moment at the Quartzite Big Tent show, I purchased a TPMS system for my rig and it already paid for itself. I was driving the RV home from March ARB after work one night and it went off like yours did. It turns out that the inner valve stem had dry rotted and cracked letting pressure out. These were less than one year old since I replaced all the tires. Needless to say, I had them replace all the valve stems. Mark the weather guy…
That's great Mark. We really think it's cheap insurance...it could save hundreds in repairs! Stay safe!
Fun fact Wallace Idaho is where Dante's peak was filmed. If you go down town to the pizza shop and sit outside you can look down the street and see where the mayor have her speech.

So that motorcycle rider you were on the interstate in Montana Lane, splitting for a motorcycle legal there that was 100% legal grant might’ve been going a little bit too fast for it, but still lane splitting his legal there has been for a couple years
Wow...that was in Washington. We were doing 60 MPH, which is the speed limit, but splitting at 60 seems a little bit much. We can understand in traffic splitting the lane, but it surprised us.

Yes it is Bob. It's the GoPro Hero 10. The audio isn't all that good, but the video and stabilization is amazing.

Heat will be the first indicator. If you can't put ypur hands on the hub that's a red flag. If you can then ur Good.

Our tpms does the same thing sometimes. We just reset the head unit and it seems to fix the issue.
Also check out Wallace it's a cool town with lots of riding for the sxs.

CZcams is unsubscribing a lot of people. I’m assuming they save money by doing that not ethical but saves them thousands maybe tins of thousands of dollars
