- We purchased a new RV lot at Shyrock RV Resort in Superior, Montana. Starting from scratch when laying out a lot is time-consuming, but we need to get things figured out. We walk our new lot with Danielle and discuss our options.

Putting the pad next to the house you'll put in and then you can use the pad area as a garage. Back in in or pulling would put you on the street the opposite way at the angle you want to driveway to the street.
On utilities, it might be useful to add an electric plug in for an electric or hybrid plug in for the Future. I am going to keep a watch on the new electric cars coming out with the CZcams channels that test them and give info about all the specs. Between charging speed to battery size, a few aren't being recommended to buy. Would you like to have a fully charged car when you stop at RV parks or boom docking. You have the car on the truck, so why not charge one while you drive. Only a gas station would be used for the truck.
All good ideas Aaron, but so far we're not impressed with the range of electric vehicles. They're going to have to improve dramatically for us to consider, but who knows what the future might hold.

If you get a park model can you set it beside the 50 foot pad so you have it in front of the park model? It would make snow clearing easier and a nice spot to sit.
We could, but if we put a park model on the lot we'd probably put a large covered deck on the front.

That wetland area, mosquitoes love that too! Can I assume, this would be an exit to traveling, but only in the summer? Its hard to imagine snow birds putting down roots in Montana, year round.
Yes, this is part of our long term planning. We want to build it for any RV we may end up with and when we finally hang up the keys we could put a tiny home on the lot for summer use.

When laying out & trying to visualize options like this, Iâve used a couple orange or yellow garden hoses. The lines can easily be seen from aerial drone shots and changing their positions allows visual confirmation as your ideas flow.

Shy rock is a beautiful place. We drove out to check the park out to purchase a lot. I left several messages and email. Unfortunately, we never received any phone call nor email. Danielle NEVER go back with us. We are very disappointed

No, there really isn't much of a market for these pine trees and we're not going to take out too many.

I just added 80 new sites to my campground, don't over think it.. it's pretty simple.. my lots are 45 wide and 200 feet long.. big lots.. all water sites.. big beaches behind every lot.. stay 5 ft minium from the utilities with concrete and pour whatever size that fits your current trailer.. always add down the road.. just watch the sun for angle of your awning.. get rid of any tress near the camper, they'll just ruin the roof..use limestone instead of gravel if you can, much nicer..will hold the weight of your truck better..
