Martin, the floaters are located in the center of the eye ball and not the lens as shown in your diagram. Also, there are in fact treatments for floaters. One treatment isn’t really a treatment but a way to better cope with floaters and that’s using low dose atropine. (Look it up). Then there is YAG laser treatment but it’s not always successful but carries less risks than the last option. Vitrectomy, that’s the gold standard for eye floaters. It’s risky but the technology has improved greatly over the years. For anyone reading this, you’re not alone. I’ve have floaters my whole life. They are harmless, just annoying. Nothing to panic about especially if you’ve had your eyes checked out recently by an ophthalmologist. Good luck!

How do you deal with them on a daily basis?😢 because they’ve sending me insane to the point where I think about suicidal thoughts. Before I used to love going outside, Now I can’t stand going outdoors nomore because of these annoying shits 😢 They even gross me out so much they look like worms/Parasites in my eyes, I even feel like blinding myself because I hate having to see these strands or disgusting strings floating in eyes 24/7. It’s has ruined me mentally, emotionally and physically, No one understands your pain or what it’s like to experience these things that you’re seeing, I even feel alone in this situation that I don’t have anyone to vent to about it. I’ve been doing some research about how to “cure” the eye floaters and it’s always the same bs, that “It’s harmless and your brain will adjust too it” nonsense, Doctors really need too stop telling their patients These bullshit and I’m sick and tired of hearing the same shit over and over! If there are people who’s out here “overcome” cancer and all these other diseases, They DAMN sure can make something to help with these annoying shits! 🤦🏾‍♀️This shit isn’t NORMAL and Idgaf who’s says otherwise but everything on this planet here has a cure for EVERYTHING

@@chelseaalexander9490 What country are you from? Look for doctors who perform vitrectomies. There’s a guy in Italy named Gulio Belmonte. I believe that’s his name. He does them for about $5,000 Euro per eye

Thank you Martin. I think ill remove myself from all the facebook groups im on. Its a constant worry for me. Im not able to go outside without a hat and dark sunglasses.
The worst for me is when its a veru bright but cloudy day. This is the worst. Bright sunshine with no clouds is bearable.
The night cannot come quick enough for me. I live in the dark now. Ive even painted all my office walls in the house a dark colour as the white walls was terrible for me.

Ive suffered from blurred vision floaters and eye twitches for 2 and a half years straight. I seen floaters after seeing videos on them, it's like they appeared out of nowhere. Drs say my eyes are fine but I just can't seem to recover from it. How can anxiety symptoms last this long? I try to do everything right yet here I am.

The image is to show what floaters look like. i.e. it seems like threads floating across your eye.
