  • Tirox SnapJack V2 Review
    www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/t...
    Portable performance for propping up your motorcycle. A simple principle to build around. A hard principle to do right. For the Tirox SnapJack V2, however, it is a purpose that they have knocked out of the park. Designed to allow riders to service their rear wheels, chains, and tires on the go, the SnapJack V2 features a self-aligning base and cradle and is constructed of a high-strength low alloy steel that will get the job done time, and time again.

    The "V2" looks better than the original that I bought. I live in an apartment, and I have limited space for paddock stands, and big lifts. The Tirox Snap Jack has been really helpful for me in doing my chain maintenance. It would be good to take on a mototrip just in case.

    Im considering this for my sportster chopper so I can maintain the chain on rides away from home. Think it will do OK?

    Spurg could easily be cast in Boogie Nights II sporting that look.

    Anyone knows if this can be used for a single swing model?
    Do I just place it under the next solid piece of metal under my frame?

    Can this be used to lift the bike to replace the kickstand?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  Před 5 lety +2

      No, it does not replace a kickstand. In fact, it is used in conjunction with a kickstand. -DrewZilla

  • @maxmmpower

    how would you use this on a front wheel?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  Před 6 lety

      It is not intended to be used with the front wheel, but Spurgeon propped it up under the skid plate on his 1090. There's a photo in the article below. Of course, _caveat emptor,_ do at your own risk. -DrewZilla

    • @RevZilla

      Yes, it can be used on the right side of the rear swingarm along with the regular sidestand, in order to lift your Vulcan 500. -DrewZilla

    This can be done by using a single piece of wood cut to the proper dimension

    Revzilla -- I normally like your video review a lot. But a review for this product would have been better in the garage, with the product in use. I had to search elsewhere to see how it worked.

    • @SpurgeonDunbar
      @SpurgeonDunbar Před 6 lety +5

      Did you watch the whole video? We literally show it being used in the field out in the dirt during the KTM review. There is B-roll sprinkled in throughout and then right around the 2:55 mark when we talk through the use.

    • @zatoichi101
      @zatoichi101 Před 6 lety +3

      Ah, I fast-forwarded to see it in use and must have skipped over it. The clip I was looking for is right where you said 2:55. Thanks!

      @SpurgeonDunbar Před 6 lety +4

      You want to see it being used in the field, here is a picture from the KTM written review what I was using it to change a tire: www.revzilla.com/blog_content_image/image/45651/gallery/KTM_1090_Adventure_R_Review-18.jpg

      @@SpurgeonDunbar what part of the skid plate are you lifting by? Thinking of one of these for my 1090 with the same KTM skid plate rather than installing a center stand.

    • @SpurgeonDunbar
      @SpurgeonDunbar Před 5 lety

      @@markbour I pull it back onto the kickstand and just slide it underneath. You can see it quite clearly in the second photo down in this article: www.revzilla.com/common-tread/you-needed-to-know-ktm-1090-adventure-r

    How come, in every single video where the "BSD" is mentioned, you also tell us Beard Scale of Difficulty? What's the point of creating an acronym for something if you're just going to say it all anyways?
