Kimber is not known for its reliability….. they make pretty guns and that’s just about the end of that.

@@michaelphipps4835 100% agreed, it looks sweet, but overall I wouldn’t buy it again. Just kind of that sweet spot since it was one of my first few pistols I bought

@@Clvch4life yeah man…. You got to be real careful with Kimber….. they make beautiful bricks….if you run it a few hundred rounds with different ammo ($$$) it may break in for you but never to the point of self defense reliability.. if you ever decide to trade it in, you probably will cry when the shop offers your a profoundly low amount. I would just keep it and take it to a “old school “ gunsmith. They usually know just what it needs to square them off.

@@michaelphipps4835 100 percent ! I would never carry this or use for a self defense night stand gun or anything lol I’m content with it, don’t shoot it much, nice piece of the collection, nothing more. I shot a micro 9 from them and hated it, would never in a million years recommend it

I currently have 6 single stack 1911's, and one older Double stack ! I actually never bought one because it "looked Good" ! I have always placed the importance of function and dependability first and foremost !! Drawing it and showing it is not impressive in a gunfight !! It needs to work as designed by Mr. Browning !!! Anything else is just foolishness, and will get you into big trouble, rather quickly !!! Buy one that works, and get rid of the novelty toys !!! They'll kill you !!

@@jamesk5250 I agree 1000%, this was purchased when I initially got into firearms and I didn’t know much.
I don’t shoot it well, which is why I never carry it. I don’t regret buying it, but if I could go back I probably wouldn’t buy it again, in my opinion for price point there are better options out there. Would like to get my hands on a more traditional 1911 with a better rep.
Appreciate the comment, I agree on everything you said

Cmon man. Its a 9mm not a 357mag. My shoots great and no OWIE to my hand. Good video though

lol I know, but compared to other pistols i own, it’s snappy as far as muzzle rise, for the price, just my opinion on it.
Haha I got skinny hands, so maybe it’s just a me thing, I still love it, just not the not enjoyable thing to shoot.

@@BrianF-wv5cl I’ve bounced around between HK, Sig, Walther, hellcat,
Carry a FN 509C now, in my option best gun as far as carry pistol out of the box.
Awesome trigger, great night sights, compact frame, dead accurate, awesome grip texture
