Love this box, I have a lot of fun messing with it! And you, my friend? You don’t have it within you to miss bringing out whatever pedal you’re working on, thank you!
Hmm- nicer pedal, and you're right- it is very difficult to find a decent auto swell that's practical for live performance. I've always used a volume pedal to, gives you complete control, that said- you have to be consciously driving that car every minute, if you stop- car wreck. This would allow you to concentrate totally on your playing- I really like that idea. And I love some of the tones you were getting- sounded very Tool- like for a few minutes. Adam uses volume swells extensively- so does Maynard on the synth.
Sold my vitruvian mod last week but the attack decay is never going away, even though i do not use it very much. It just feels nice to know its availabke when i want it.
Wow, hadn't heard of the Mantic before. Had to order one.. I've seen similar done with GFI DuoPhony and The Kilter, but not with envelope control and not with that small of a footprint. Also makes me want to try similar things on the Beebo or Polymoon. Pretty killer idea.
@@chiefbucknell FYI Unfortunately the Pendulum I got was a dud. It'll be getting sent back. There was a static sound, almost like the pedal was always clicking when doing any movement towards the wet side. In addition the envelope control was absolutely horrid on it. Wasn't smooth at all, and I couldn't dial it in to be a smooth transition. I think I'll just forgo that pedal and work out doing similar things with what I've got.
I just ordered one of these. I also use a Walrus Lore and Wampler Ethereal. Would it be optimal to run those two through the AD effects loop or before or after in the chain?
For my personal use, I use the Lore or Reverb in general to set the virtual space I'm playing in, and I generally don't want that swelling in and out. For that type of setup, it would come after the AD. I would only use the effects loop if I just wanted an effect combined with the AD effect of Swelling and on nothing else.
I have to say- I hated this pedal. I had it one day and returned it. It’s a gimmicky thing. There’s better reverse pedals. The other stuff you’ll never use unless you grow mushrooms in your closet
Why are you limiting my response? And why wouldnt you want a combo pedal to save space on ur board? Every reverse pedal has something else. Timeline is great and limitless and canyon delay is pretty good too
Excellent demo. One of my favorite pedals, and one of the few I've seen doing a thorough showcase of the effects loop.
Really good demo of a complex pedal. Thanks 😎🤓
Glad you covered this one, I was interested in checking out this pedal and I always appreciate your demos. Thx

I've never played with an auto-swell. You got some really interesting, almost melodica like tones over to cello like sounds. Thanks for the video!
Thx for this demo on guitar, on bass and baritone it works very well to produce cello and violon bass sounds too
Awesome demonstration of the pedal. Attack Decay is going to be my next purchase for sure.
You just sold me. You sound like Alex Lifeson on Farewell To Kings!!

Works great with guitar synth pedals and/or fuzz. I like expression controlling attack time

I really dig the sounds I get out of my Attack Decay. Using fx in its loop helped me avoid a desire for some pedals like the Mantic Pendulum.

@@chiefbucknell OoOo very nice! I've got a Helix, I'll have to try that.

This is one of some pedals in my collection that I will never sell it

Can i use the Pedals in the effect Loop normally without engaging the Attack/Decay?

Which ones are better in your opinion? Without any reverb or delay included.
