    Really enjoying the work on this car and your detail on how this is coming together. Have a 1976 that is going to need some love. Thankfully not floors. Sail panel and some quarter work for sure and any other hidden gremlins found in the process. Keep the videos coming!

    I've built 3 2nd gen Camaros and there really isn't much content like yours showing how the sheet metal comes together, very much appreciate your work. Thanks!

    I am enjoying the build! That said, I would have been very interested in seeing the demo of the old floor and how you disassembled it. Great job!

    New here and like your work. Been a long time subscriber to Peterson Restorations having found Ben a few years back who specializes in 65-70 Mustangs to perfection. Though gladly recommend his channel and love his work my favorites are Camaro & TA's having owned and driven both. So....I'll keep lookin' in and enjoy the journey. And with that.....Best wishes & regards.😊

      Thank you, we are enjoying putting these videos out. We also are very familiar with 65-68 Mustangs. You may have noticed a 67 in the background of a few of our videos. Once we get back on it we will use it for some content.

    Just subscribed to your channel yesterday after seeing the first video, I'm doing the same work on my 79 trans am in my garage, it's little hard to do everything by myself.
    Nice video!

      What's the length between a Piller where that dash is I'm tempted to put a trans am dash in my project but I can't seem to find one in Kansas City Missouri

      I don't know the measurements but I bought the replacement panel from NPD

    New subscriber. First question… do you experience any problems with parts from different manufacturers?

    • @rogersrodworx
      @rogersrodworx  Před 6 měsíci

      Sometimes, we have had parts that just don't fit. We went through 3 different brake master cylinders on one project before we got one that worked. I've had brand new alternators that were bad right out the box. It's mostly the mechanical parts, but every now and again, we do get body parts that don't fit.
      For example, we bought a new deck lid for a 66 Mustang coupe, it was way off. Like 1/2 inch gaps all the way around off.

    Where'd you get the firewall panel from? I like that one better than my DSE.

    • @rogersrodworx
      @rogersrodworx  Před 6 měsíci +1

      I built the firewall from 18g sheet metal just ran it through the bead roller first

    What manufacturer is that floor? Dynacorn, amd, goldenstar etc..

    • @rogersrodworx

      This one is an OER from Classic Industries

    • @ericcanestraro141
      @ericcanestraro141 Před 6 měsíci

      @rogersrodworx had the same floor that was going to be installed, torque boxes didn't sit flush in the frame rail. Got a different floor a dynacorn. This floor sits nice in torque boxes now but but now has a gap on side where inner rockers are supposed to meet floor. We're losing our mind on this part of the build

    Thank you for the all the videos and documenting the progress. I'm using your build as a resource for mine. Been using your tips on sheet metal repair. I'm knee deep in stopping the rust and looks like I'll need an entire floor pan and trunk floor among other sheet metal. I'm restoring my lost for 30 years and now found my 79 Firebird Formula I drove in high school. czcams.com/video/lMmHq34dePQ/video.html If you want to check it out. I wish I could fly you here to install my floor pans and trunk pan.
