I can't believe you're so close to episode 20. That's the best episode of this season and all because a certain character shines in the challenge. The most strategical that certain character has been. After that in episode 21, it goes downhill

Each season finale has a "choode your own ending" type of thing. Last season for example you reacted to the version where Owen won, but there's a version where Gwen wins and the 2nd season continued with that. That's why tey say Owen lost!

Actually, the 1st season is an exception to that. Owen is the undisputed winner of Island, according to the creator and he was even referenced as the winner in the 2023 reboot. Gwen even says, in the special episode between Action and World Tour that she came in 2nd in Island.
The real reason the show said he lost the money in this episode is because in the special episode between Island and Action (in which they decided who would be in Action) Chris made Owen give up his check for $100,000 for a chance to win $1Mil in Total Drama Action. That's why they said his family counted on him bringing home the money, because he already won it when they blew the cash, but he never brought it home since he gave it up for a spot in Total Drama Action. @@simonesmith7360 true, but there's also a special version where Gwen wins and she gives up the money in hope to gain even more in 2nd season. Like I said, everything is a choose your own ending!... I know it is confirmed Owen is the real winner, but the alternate versions exist and for most people it is just a matter of which one happened to watch first!
@@bogdancalin101 That is true, though in her version Gwen literally gets her money stolen from her and the check ripped up, then just forced to go to Action, so she kinda got a bs alternate version. It's harder to tell which ending is more legit for the other seasons, but there are a few scenes and details that make the pick and choose options of winners easier to acknowledge.
Of course Courtney would be a rare cheese from Italy. She's a rare case from Italy.
I used to like her a lot, but they made her so annoying this season. Yes, she's smart and competitive, but she's not a person you'd want to be friends with. And she only gets worse in later seasons.

Yeah bro, watch 6Teen! When I was a kid, I watched episodes here and there but tbh after watching as an adult, I feel it's arguably better than Total Drama and I LOVE Total Drama. Give it a watch!!

God the more I see of late action the more I just dislike it. I feel like while the strategy elements are better than Island overall things just feel a bit unfocused. Between the aftermath segments and one of the antagonists not being in the season til halfway it just feel directionless.
The funny thing is, TDA fixes the mistakes of TDI (lack of strategy, no consistency or reasoning for votes) but has issues that TDI didn’t (poor story)
The writers then seemed to have learned from both seasons in WT…only to forget everything again afterwards.
Well tbh Justin was actually the Antagonist from episodes 1-12 and then the writers felt like he was a bad villain so they debuted Courtney. Honestly I miss when the writers actually cared unlike what happened to the seasons after World Tour

Yeah this is where action starts to fall off for me. Despite being called action, its so directionless.
Justin and beth are far too boring to be in the competition this far, leshawna is a punching bag and courtney has lost any sort of appeal since s1.
Ive never been too keen on harold but hes fine, and duncan doesnt really have anyone else to bounce off of

@@MrWanton16 Tbh a lot of these characters don't really have much tbh, at least we know there's more to Beth than just being the nerd normal girl. Unfortunately this is her last major role too after that it's just like I think one or two cameos and that's it
SPOILER about future seasons
I will say I wish the original female winner of this season we could've seen how it would've went down. I love Beth but considering she got no more roles and Lindsay had more screentime I enjoy Lindsay a lot more. Lindsay should've won or made it to final 3 in All Stars IMO, the plot was interesting but I would've preferred the oblivious vs the mastermind theme rather than the lover vs lover theme.
