I love seeing Dark play. He is always experimenting with alt-strategies. 9 out of 10 times it might fail but that 10th time he has the chance to beat anyone. Regardless it is never boring.
The recent patch corrected thumb ring for slingers. It does improve Attack % from 90 to 100 but does not increase speed of attack. It is most likely not worth getting.
Inca is gonna be the late game snowball civ since they seemingly have a counter for everything you could throw at them. Kamayuks and cheaper FU halbs for cavalry, cheaper FU skirms and fabric shield Eagles for archers, slingers for infantry and finally Eagles for monk & siege.
Yeah cause kamayuks have 1 range which means they can hit from the back row instead of awkwardly pathing around like most melee units, which means champs are at a disadvantage most of the times.

The only answer from Teutons against Incas is Siege Onagers...
Fabric shield Eagles. Perfect Incan response to archers and siege.
From watching SOTL recent video, Thumbring only affects Slingers by 10%, so its not really worth unless you're going another range unit in late game

You meant Accuracy %

This matchup is tough for Incas, I’ve used Tuets as a counter on 3v3 4v4 matchups

hera using his knowledge to help out the 1200s instead of winning tournaments. Chad move.
lmao SOTL just made a video about slingers and the thumb ring does effect slingers.
yeah but 90% -> 100% is pretty irrelevant. Slingers used to get the faster firerate as well which would be huge, but they dont anymore.
It does but only accuracy, which goes from 90% -> 100%. Which isn't that big of a difference.
Dark stomping GSL while laddering AOE2 against Hera, what a chad
Hey Hera is there a reason you don't use a "select all idle villagers" hotkey?
🇵🇪 vs 🇩🇪
Hera man, one game will you lose? How pro are you?
Real question u are the best!?
With slingers+halberds Teutons have no chance

champions do not counter Kamayuk. Kamayuks were hitting champions and slingers were hitting knights, and Incas won

Why does he put farms only around tc ?
Is dark the same as sc2 dark?
Is there a particular reason to open skirms instead of archers?
Archers cost gold and so do eagles. He ran out of gold making eagles so skirms were the only option until he could get more gold.
Incas need food discount nerf imho
pretty lucky he went for a bad army comp im Imp. Onager/HC kills Incas. Champions and Cavalry do not.
In an open map like this eagles are a pretty good counter to onagers.
