This video has " the quiet kid gets his revenge on bullies" type of vibe
When I saw mongols I knew Hera was going sweaty 😂
200% sounds like a walloping 😂, especially when I saw what stats were affected, now put that on 500 pop
I thought complete opposite
When you think about it, this is kind of historically accurate
Lol, watch the spirit of the law overview of Mongols. The intro is hilarious 11
LOL
This is brilliant.
“I don’t have any friends but I HAVE handicap” sounds like a South Park quote 😂
what in the Genghis Khan is this
The Great Khan would've approve
Doopey : Booming in castle age
Meanwhile 7 rams with fully upgraded mandagai comin out of a 9000 hp castle
did hera even build a range and stable for upgrades? i think he only got blacksmith and uni
he did. both of them@@agustinfranco0
Mercilessly FUN 😂😂😂😂😂
@@agustinfranco0 He did!
Loved the idea of this being a series. Survive 200% hera
YES we have to make this happen, i just need 6 friends, so 6 to go i guess
@@agustinfranco0 can't help you there. I only watch AOE. I don't play it since I was 10. Never was good, always loved it. Lol
Devs should model an AI scenario off of Hera. He chooses the Civ and the composition of units. We choose one to survive with. Kinda like mangudai madness but it’s Hera in AI form
Yeah, it'd be really interesting to see how far up you have to go in Elo to make it even. I reckon seven 1200s with some practice (enough to know that you have to be raiding him asap etc.) could win.
We need the tiebreaker now. 125-150% handicap.
There needs to be some link to pop, maybe 125% drops him to 40 bonus pop, 150% to 30 or something like that. The combination is too brutal.
RESPECT TO HERA FOR NOT CHARGING THEM!
T90Oficial would charge them for sure 😂
I though the same thing. Hera is my favorite AOEII Pro hands down!
True, that was kind of him
This has to be one of the best age of empires videos ever done, hope trhat more vids like this are coming because i was having blast watching it, keep up the work king
200% was totally an overkill, but 150 could be even and awesome.
His TCs can 1v1 castles and produce a constant stream of double efficiency villagers, 200% is definitely nuts
If he does more of these it should be 15% handicap for each player over 4v1 (to a max of 150% for 1v7)
1 Vs 7 x 1000 is still crazy difficult
Hera playing as historically accurate Mongols.
underrated comment
The revenge plot was really fun to follow. That would hit the sweet spot of every gamer
7:23 A note behind the code for the tech logistica is that it gives Cataphracts a large bonus damage against all infantry units (+9 I think) so with 200% they could basically kill halbs in one shot.
and of course you can run your horses around infantry to trample them 😊
@@daarom3472 "Trample" damage from Logistica is splash damage from the regular attack - it doesn't cause damage from just running around
@@ChalkyWilston I know, it was a joke. But when I was 10 (in 1999) I did think this was the case ^^
I almost recommended the handicap on your last video, but I saw so many other recommendations, and figured this one was obvious enough that if you wanted to do it, then you would. And lo and behold one day later here you are doing exactly that, and it was even greater than I imagined.
Also "Look at these resources, who made these settings? Is this just double?" Not just double, it's double resources wtih almost 200 to over 250 vills with control of almost all the neutral resources on an 8 player map. The handicap was not made with bonus pop in mind lol (as you seemed to imply at the start), so you and the dwarves came up with this combination of settings.
Handicap be like:
more resources at start, faster resources collection rate, higher build time speed, more building HPs, more Villagers' HPs, faster military building work rate, higher bonus damage of units.
at 300% all vills are cobra cars probably
I want to see this become a series.
A proposition to keep it interesting:
The average elo of the enemy group will continue rising throughout the series (+100 elo/win), to find out how far Hera can beat 1v7 with 200% Handicap.
This was literally exhilarating to watch. You said it best that the handicap is made for weaker players so those bonuses are like 4-10X in the hand of a pro. You probably could have 100 pop blown them out of the water. Amazing video, glad I was here for the first go at it.
The handicap bonuses are just designed very poorly if you want to be twice as strong with 200%. As it is, those bonuses are multiplied by the effects of the other bonuses making you 4-10X stronger even if you are a noob. This game could be said to be 10 Heras against 7 noobs.
@@vekeuimonen11 Keep in mind that the handicap bonuses were not designed with extra population in mind.
Edit: To expand on my point. A large part of the reason this got out of hand was because he was able to make over 200 vills and still have even more army to attack every player at once. If he's attacking fewer of them, then some of the players have more time to build up enough to maybe have a fighting chance. It also takes a really good player to take full advantage of these bonuses, because I doubt most players could keep track of and control this many units at once, much less this effectively.
My experience with 200% handicap is my wife completely steamrolled me in a 1v1. The next game was just the opposite with me beating her easily with 165% for her, so all the multipliers must stack in some unintuitive or non-linear way. I wish handicap went below 100% though. I'd rather make it more difficult for the skilled player instead of encourage bad playing habits for the lower skilled player.
i think that would make a very irritating experience for the pro, I would love the noob to get the buff, since it would be more fun for the noob that way
@@viethoangtrantrinh6519 I'm not talking pro v. noob. I'm talking 800 elo me vs 300? elo spouse. I worry my spouse will never get better if the game is artificially easier. If any modders read this, please create a mod to allow for greater challenge for the experienced player.
I know right, it doesn't even make sense that it's called handicap but it can't actually nerf the player
@@russoft You can do something as simple as delete one or perhaps even all 3 of your starting villagers to account for the slower start your spouse has. You'll prob be able to catch up in feudal for the game to stay exciting for the both of you.
@@vekeuimonen11 Nah that isn't the way low ELO players play. I seen some flat out stop producing vills after like 20. They like a nice even manageable and rounded number.
Everything about this video was entertaining.😂😂😂 the rise and fall, the "hatred" to dopey, then them playing survival till the end😅😅
Another thought, i guess the players on the socrotra matchup didn't get u upset enough for revenge 😂😂😂😂
Imagine the monaspa with this FC time, that would be nuts. Might even be better than mongals!
Round 3 150% handicap when? 👀
16:46 Average player makes cav to counter skirms, Hera makes a 9000 HP Castle🤣
28:22 Dopey's dead body at the top of the screen. May he rest in peace.
Pause at 28:23 and you should be able to see the scouts body
😂😂😂😂
This was great to watch! Honestly loved that they didn’t resign - was so fun to see Hera hunting them down.
This was a blast. Hope there will be more of these videos in the future
It would be really cool to have a high level tournement with handicaps involved somehow. Some ideas:
* Whole tournement at 200% for everyone
* Every round of the tournement it increases untill 200% for the final
* Include handicap bidding in the draft somehow - like you determine the map and civ matchup randomly and then players blind bid how much handicap they'd give the opponent to choose the civ they want and whoever bids higher gets the pick but the other player gets that much handicap in the game.
that was insaane, much fun watching that, keep it up man! 🍻
Im really loving these Hera, keep it up!
that was really funny hera definitely worth making more
Gotta, love them Fairytales:
Hera vs the 7 Dwarves
18:12 "I can't even keep up with what's happening" - Me, with my 2nd TC
what the fuck was that. I want more!
OOOH LETS GO I'M PUMPED (me before video)
LMAOOOOOOOO (me after video)
would absolutely watch more of these omg. also loved how long they held on before game over
This makes me envision a giant fighting a bunch of dwarves. So funny
So happy to see you did this!
That was really worth watching dude!
That was Amazing! Please do more!
This is amazing, hopefully more people challenge you to handicap games
That was awesome man lol! Revenge…is a dish best served cold…
20 years ago I fought my friends using only Siegeram as Celts. This brought back the sweet memory of 200 rams rolling over one of them and he couldn't do anything against it :-D Thank you for that sweet reminder
This is your best video, you should definitely do the hiding stuff, especially on a map like black forest
Wow love this. Wouldn't mind more of this. Revenge vs green was so satisfying! 11
Absolutely nuts. With 21 on food Hera can maintain 7 TC vill production.
that will be 42 regular farmers and 6 to maintain a tc running, very accurate
@@user-zt3oo1qe8i I think in practice it works out to be a lot more than just double the food income, because they work twice as fast, carry twice as much AND rebuild the farms twice as fast, while the farms don't need to be reseeded any more often than usual (since the extra collection rate doesn't diminish resources from the source). This accounts for how he has such a huge surplus of food even though he's spending it all the time and never has more than ~35 farmers at any point.
Hera going full Rorschach: I'm not locked up here with you, YOU are here locked up with me.
Love the lore recap!! Hera do that again
Next 1v7:Hera has been nerfed an extra 30%
grumpy civ bonus buffed 10%
dopey:
Great stuff! More plz!
15:29 "I'm gonna kill everyone" while laughing was the best moment 🤣🤣
sick game bro, very entertaining.
That was super fun to watch!
Something like 1v7 with Hera 150-200% Handicap in Ludicrous map size could be cool, to give the opposing team the objective of trying to be as slippery as possible and get to max pop army and try to hunt down all of Hera's vills and buildings before Hera hunts all of theirs down.
This video (after CA) is perfect to create a "when doom music kicks in" video. The song "All they fear is you" and Hera the Mongols' Doom Marine "Rip and teaaar!"😂😂😂
What about a 1v1 vs a pro on 200% handicap both. To try out the setting!
Loved it. Thanks. Try to find the handicap where this is approximately evenly matched. Maybe see how it goes on 130% handicap.
Normal people: do drugs to get that dopamine hit
Hera: plays 200% handicap 🤣🤣🤣
Hey Hera, can you try the same thing with 130%?
Hoy Hera love to see your videos I learn a lot, one question, what would you do if they start rushing you with 7 scouts right away?
Dude, this was sick!
Such a great game. The last 1 v 7 felt truly unfair. This seals the deal so nicely! 😂. You're getting inventive at how many different types of 1 v x games you can host.
yepp, 200 is totally insane. 150 would be more interesting for sure :) But was awesome to see what happens anyway!
I didn't know I needed this video so badly xD otherwise I'd have watched it 4 days ago. Holy sweet mother of Genghis Khan what was that?!
We need a tournament played between pro players, all on 200% handicap and turbo resources with unlimited resource mod xD
i like the editor's civ page popup at the start as a reminder of civs bonuses!
This is historicslly accurate for Genghis Khan.
This was so fun to watch actually. Maybe a bit lower max pop next time 😂
Loved it. Given SOTL could beat 1 vs 7 extream AIs (black forest IIRC), I think you can do it vs 7 1500s.
Haha - I had suggested this on Twitter but reverse at one point! Glad to a similar idea made it into a video.
I love the revenge game, so entertaining to know the lore and emotions from last punishment
Hera: "Hopefully the editor will do these 2 things."
Editor: 🤪
Estás llevando el streaming del Age a otro nivel!
Definitely want more “survival” mode games. Very entertaining.
THAT WAS A GREAT İDEA, definitely more vids like this
6 dwarfs and a disney dog. Happy must be awol.
I feel like the opponents should have smurf names just to make this even funnier
I love. This video. Sooooo fun i love it. Grande hera me divertio mucho este video. Genioooo
As someone who has a long history of relieving stress by stomping 7 AI in FFA or 1v7 w/ handicap, this was immensely satisfying.
“My cats in heat and there’s nothing I can do about it.” FACTS
that was FLIPPING INSANE!
Also now convinced that Hera isn't fully human... Either got a prototype Neuralink installed or is actually a robot.....
I like it when it's more close and I felt like you were buffed a little too much. In any case, you gotta try or you won't know. Maybe try 150% 175% handicap next time? I am sure there are some meta with these handicap and thing we didn't think about that would be super powerful even with just 150%. Maybe you could still win :O
Hera you should definitely play Cumans with the handicap. You could FC but still build 2nd TC in fuedal while churning out cav at double the speed with a 500 pop cap. Insane.
this was HUGE man
I just watched this out of context and am disgusted by Hera’s guilty pleasure of thrashing on 7 helpless dwarves who just wanted to enjoy their time playing AOE. I’ll be sending prayers to these players and their families.
Hi Hera, what do you think about 1v1 tournament with both players at 200% handicap? Would be like turbo turbo game mode.
Lol. Hera drops castles and produces Mangudai as if building archery ranges and producing skirms from them.
You guys play on steam, console or private server? I'm new with the multiplayer experience
I def want to see more of that
8:05 Hera made red grumpy :(
recap title: gang beat a lone guy unaware that he is a secret pro, this is his revenge
After seeing this, I really want to see a Viper at 200% vs Hera at 200% 1v1
Strategy suggestion for the 7 players:
4 players next to Hera -> forget food, go full wood at start, build lumber camp -> reach 275 wood -> destroy and rebuild TC next to Hera TC -> keep two villagers at home collecting wood
2 players rush tower in feudal - don't need to pass feudal
1 player rush castle to go full onagers - yep, at this point we don't need a castle.
Good luck if there's a next game guys.
THAT. WAS. EPIC.
Dude you annihilated them 😂😂😂.
200% Handicap sounds like a fun idea for a mini tournament or at least a few fun games against other pros
Now we are talking! I'd love to see more of this drama? But first, can you defeat them with 150%?
That was beautiful :D
Did Hera even get full ups on the mangudai? I don’t recall seeing archery range and stable
I think replay this challenge but you have to win in 20 minutes or some specific time or it means they win
Or only 150% handicap
😊
Nice video though
Omg this is amazing
Now I want to see a 200% pro tournament, or at least showmatch.
Hera + handicap vs 2 pros would be like a team game with one side having two Heras
I think it might be better than 2 heras because he only has to pay for one set of age ups, upgrades and he gets double for his resources in other ways like hp, vill efficency and bonus damage.
@@nightonfir3 Maybe you're right, but also he wouldn't get the team bonus and complimentary unit coverage that a synergistic team would have. Plus the two players could attack on two different fronts, forcing him to split attention and APM. Maybe 200% is too high but there is probably some number that would make it a close game.
I think Handicap 200% means you are around 4 times as strong as normal, maybe even more
Viper is cool (Fanboy here). Hera is also pretty cool (I'm definitely becoming a fanboy ). Seeing these new things from you has been exciting. Keep breaking the records man. Get your rest too, for the health. Respect.
