I like conans idea... but the simple option was to move all the cars to the back corner of the garage so the would be no cover for the people rushing the PD. As it was both sides had equal cover as soon as the rushed in.
This should be proof that cops should have to be crims for atleast 3-6 months before. Realize the punishes you are doing affect you real life and rp
Should just be a mandatory rotation, and expected of both sides IMO. Something like every 3 months, their characters go on a "Vacation" for 2 weeks. During that 2 weeks, cops need to play crim to understand how their actions affect the crim side, and vice versa for the crims. It should be a requirement for any level of Prio, but a system that you opt-in to. It would give players a way to showcase themselves to admins, and would give admins a list of people to watch for prio boosts.

@@VinegarAndSaltedFries IMO that's why you have to tie it to ALL prio, cop prio included. Just take the decision out of it. If you want to play cop on the server, you have to do it. It would need to be something admin monitored though.
That being said, it is something that would be good for everyone on the server, so there is a 0% chance it would ever happen.
@@Arealdruid The issue with this is lull’s exist in the server in between content updates. And while It stays fresh for a while eventually people stop waking up. Prio should be good role players aswell but you need police presence on the server.
@@VinegarAndSaltedFries On the flip side of that however, if there is a path for prio laid out in front of people that has a requirement of playing cop a certain amount of time, there will be more people wiling to play cop to get on that track during those lulls. So there would be more of a police pool to be that presence as a natural extension of that.
Those lulls are when people without prio SHOULD be doing whatever they can to get it, because while the spotlight may be more dim during those times, it is also a lot wider reaching.
I'm not saying that they should go all starship troopers and say service guarantees citizenship, just that if you tie prio with a program like that, cop prio can remain the same but it will not only give those cops a better chance of getting non-cop prio, it will also give people who want prio a path that they can go down instead of just hoping that during the hour a day they are able to get into the server, there is an admin around to take notice.
If someone wants prio, playing cop is already your best bet. Adding a path to non-cop prio to the mix is just a bonus IMO.
They actually took evidence that's wild , crims need something to clean up crim scenes if there going to take evidence after a complete loss ,

Definitely a Conan W but I think people are being a little too rough on the streamer who plays Ruby. They are a great role player just like the person who played Ruth the issue is they have been put in a very difficult situation between following rule of the server and improv’ing what is happening. Want to value life but also need to be a police force all while a complete wipe of the last 6 months of DOJ work is happening and a bound to be overhauled PD. It’s kinda tricky and I don’t envy it. Should Ruby had cops interact with them…YES undeniably it was anti-rp not to, But part of it also comes from the mob instantly shooting cop cars as soon as they saw them. Some people just aren’t built to lead something like this. I don’t feel it’s “lost the plot” like many of these others Ruby is still very clearly a character being played.
This is why PD is so depressed all the time because NO ONE wondered why all the crims have united against them. It was all boohoo poor us we got shot and/or just ignored the situation for a bit.
Also, cool getting DNA from a scene PD choose to leave because crims have NO way to clean it up... yea that makes sense.
