Yeah ! I have to admit I was amazed at their talent when I don't like their modern performances ...the movie showed me how ignorant I am. But I'm a blues fanatic and that's all I want...that and cool jazz sometimes, there's never enough blues and boogie for this old man.
I love Muddy Waters, Jimmy Rogers, Little Walter, Otis Spann--they made my favorite blues sound. But the film was worse than unfair to Walter, it was almost criminal. I don't think Chester Burnett was portrayed fairly either; he and Hubert Sumlin were stellar as well.
