That sliding bed could be very useful for packing larger coolers and things slide it over and pack it up
I could see that!
Hadn't thought of that, good idea.
King bed in such a small trailer is great. You could set up the L part of the counter to sit across from each other when eating.
I could see that!
A point you should also mention is that the slide mechanism is rack & pinion, which in my opinion is superior to the schwintek or its clones.
I’ve had a recent spike in folks asking about slide types so I may try to do that more often
Ty for the constructive input!
@@JoshtheRVNerd you’re welcome and the best to you and your family this holiday season.
Love the awesome bed, a sofa instead of a backbreaking uncomfortable dinette, a breakfast bar, a TV and a 3 burner cooktop with oven👍but no ladder, no solar, cheap Chinese tires, a radius shower, a cheap plastic toilet and a Dollar Store 4” fart fan is disappointing😩
The fridge and couch should be flipped. That way, if you do have the couch out as a bed, you can get around it if you need to go to the bathroom at night.
Wow I’m impressed it’s a nice design.
Has some great features I’ve not seen much of in several years. Seems like a fair price.
You’ll see pricing on more and more rvs continue to prove but these are super aggressive as a brand
When are manufacturers going to smarten up & have a hold up for the overhead storage?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Needs queen bed and eliminate the sliding bed, I really like the kitchen. Who needs a window in the bathroom use that are for storage above toilet. Still nice little camper
Wonder if a Rockwood 2205s may not be a good fit for you
I like that little bugger. The potty room was surprisingly good. Nice cargo capacity. 👍🏼 Road mode ok too.
Personally, I'd rather have a 2-person dinette just because I really don't like stools. I understand why a dinette isn't there though. Otherwise this looks like a functional camper. Two-stage road mode access is pretty good, and I was happy to see an oven.
Yeah it’s a solid rv for the size
Thank you “Uncle” Josh for putting in all the time and energy to bring us all these great options. You da man!😁👍👏🏻✌️🤙🙏
My pleasure!!
I wish manufacturers would have clear window in the door with a shade built in! The more windows, the better! Thanks for the work Josh 👍🏻
That would be cool!
Sliding bed could be useful when making it up. More room for us bigger folks to get around it.
I could see that
I really like this floor plan! I like simpler floor plans. We only camp 4 or 5 times a year, why buy a 60K camper
First time seeing this brand, seems like a good value. That pass through storage could be a sleeping spot, good gravy. Needs an accessory hitch.
This unit is now way up on my list!!
Awesome Ty!
I like the CCC size compared to the GVWR. I wish more mfgs would target CCC for 25%-35% of GVWR. I also like the big front pass-through, but wish the fresh water tank was 55-60 gallons like many other 26' couple rigs. The price is definitely right!
Yeah a larger CCC is something a lot of rvs lack currently
Sofa cubby is nice place for the remote since there isn't one in this sofa. Great layout, I'm liking it a lot. Thank you for all you do to bring the pros and cons in your reviews , you do a wonderful job.
TY for this. I sure try :)
I’m still not sure why you’re down on radius showers. I’m 6’3” and 250 pounds and I love my radius shower. The only shower configuration I’ve hated was my old postage stamp with a curtain. We traded to our FE 248RBS to get the radius shower. The old trailer was only a year old.
I can get by with them just fine
But I try to share ups and downs. Many people find them restrictive
Very nice decor and impressive space. Perhaps the power points would have been better off the side of the TV cabinet, to bring them down closer to the bench top, so any appliance doesn’t have its power chord hanging over it.
Hi Josh, in several of your videos, When you talk about passing by a slide to access other spaces, you always talk about not stepping or putting any weight on them. I'm curious though, how a slide handles when it has a refrigerator full of food or a pantry full of clothes and a sofa on it as well. Doesn't the weight of all of that put some pressure on the slide while it's in driving mode?
Good question and a common one. Mfgs account for things they place in the slide
Would be awfully nice if some premium manufacturers of excellent rode mode models would rate them for regular use. I get budget rigs, or ones with impossible road mode access, or schwintek not doing that.
@@billmonroe7328 it’s something I am encouraging them to consider
Especially like bedroom in this wonderful interior scheme. I can't find anything to dislike. It's a winner! Thanks for sharing!
Glad you like it!!
I think it’d be better to sacrifice the pantry by the door for more space and storage in the bathroom.
👍🏻 Ty
Black Eyed Peas...que the bass line :)
Super nice layout, it checks all the boxes!
I got a feeling
[Autotune] WOOOOOOoooooooo.....
They did a great job with the new colors for 2024…totally changed the look and feel. It’s a steal for that show price. Powered jacks too.
Ty Greg! I didn’t have a good bead on the 2023’s so I am glad to see this
I think this is still my favorite layout. It would be nice to have build in drink holders in the arms of the sofa so you could use the trays that sit down in the armrests. I didn't really see anything I didn't like in this one. Well, maybe if the TV doesn't swivel quite enough you won't get TV toilet time. And then you just have to stare at whoever is sitting at the bar eating. LOL!!!!!!
lol don’t threaten me with a good time
Excellent laid out and featured travel trailer. Excellent price also!
Glad you like it! :)
Nice lil camper, but as an older couple, we prefer the RockStaff versions for all the additional comforts. As usual, love your presentation, Josh. Bish's has a gem 💎 in you! Blessings.
Right on!
Lookin for just like this, we gotta check out that Rockstaff Ver. Would you know model#
I like this model. I’d have to see the bathroom in person, but if it’s doable for me, then I’d be a buyer.
I really appreciate when you put the floor plan upfront in the video…thank you….
My pleasure. I feel like it's something I'd want to know
I have a Tacoma. I need a small one. Looks great
This is actually more than a tow package Tacoma should be handling. You'll want to keep the GVWR of the RV under 6,500lbs. This exceeds that by over a 1,000lbs
You'll want to stay a little lighter. Something like this is about as big as I'd recommend: czcams.com/video/rYOP4maAEVs/video.html
Even depending on terrain it might be more than you want to handle
I appreciate the reply’s to comments. Going to make me have to buy RV’s from you in the future.
a stool sample... bwahahahahaha
I like this one a lot. looks like a great "starter" couples camper to pull with my F-150. I'm taller than you Josh, so a King Size bed is a must, and this is more affordable than the Cougar 22 RBS (which is still my favorite.)
Yeah a bit more of a budget version of that layout but with some smart features
I like this. I think my potential purchase list is up to 37 now 😂. I’ve noticed a trend with your videos, if you want a bigger tv you have to buy a bigger RV. Hey that rhymed 😆. Suggestion, what do you think about instead of them having a window in the bathroom they use that wall and place a storage cabinet for towel storage or whatever?
I like the idea!
I really like this one but wifey demands a wall 😂. Could you do a video over half ton towable RVs with a king bed….and a wall between the bedroom and living area? Or maybe you’ve already done one?
Love everything Except the slide! It's beautiful!!❤
Meaning you’d just prefer a no-slide rv?
We went to the Houston RV show last week. I looked and looked for this one. We would have bought it for that price! I’ve had my eye on this unit over a year. Perfection is with the recliner, no sofa bed. 😢
Important to understand that price was reached with a few limited time things that kind of overlapped
1.) It's my hometown store. We pay nearly no shipping costs to get RVs here. A Houston dealer probably incurs a hard $4,000 per RV to get it down there
2.) The brand was new to my home store and you often get special intro deals
3.) They wanted to make an impact and basically offered a discount off their invoicing to reach those figures
I haven't looked but I'd guess our daily pricing on these wouldn't match the show figures on them
Because yeah.. it's _aggressive_
Mpg has done a better job on this floor plan an fit an finish is better than in the past good job MPG
Awesome Ty
The king bed with the L shaped counters…👍
Nice layout for a couples camper! 👍
I think so too!
That IS a great storage under. I definitely look for that. 🙋♀️ When I buy, that will be important to me.
Thank you! Appreciate you watching
the lady let me know that she appreciates the "shave yer sasquatch legs while camping" foot shelf in the showers now...
Hahaha
It's really handy to have a tire shop next door people can pick up there new trailer and go right next door to get the trailer tires balanced most r-v manufacturers don't balance the trailer tires and a unbalanced tire will vibrate rolling earthquake wear unevenly and back in the bias tires days cause a tire to go flat . Ever thought of counting the wheel wights on your dealers lot ?
I've actually put a video out there years ago advising to have your RV's tires balanced. Funny you mention that
@@JoshtheRVNerd it was the tire's, I have noticed now that most of the supply chain problems have gone away manufacturers have switched back to import tires and other products, but getting your trailer tires balanced is the cheapest upgrade a person can do to there r-v
@@djfitzgerald2193 yeah I’ve noticed a lot of brands quietly moving back away from Goodyears as well
Good video Josh
Glad you enjoyed it
Happy Campin’⛺️
😊
Nice ☺️ I think I would like it 🎉🎉🎉
Glad you like it 😊
What about flipping the axles for better clearance?
Is there storage under the bed, besides the pass through?
Yes there’s basically an interior pass thru under the bed but since the bed slides it doesn’t have sides
Nice that it has a king bed👍how about booth dinette?
Great bed setup! Minus those sharp corners at the wardrobes. Round those asap! Digging the same level kitchen counter. I’d prefer a smidge larger frig. Shower where the toilet is move toilet across and squeeze the sink next to shower. More space for toilet/shower less space for sink. If that works…
Agree on rounded corners!
This would be nice for a solo camper! (ME) LOL
😊
That is nice for the money? Is the build quality up to standard?
Love your jokes too. 😂
😊
If someone wanted extra storage in the bathroom on that empty space, would a vendor like yours be able to add something or would it be better to find someone else?
That’s tricky because there is not always something in a wall to which structures like cabinets could be affixed. We would have to look closer before we could get you a hard answer
After seeing some of your other videos, I think that sliding king is kinda pointless. However if they switched it out to a sliding split king like that other trailer you covered a couple videos ago. So here's my sales pitch. It could be configured as 2 single beds for older kids and mom n dad crash on the couch. Kids grow up and you don't need to switch trailers!
I am open bedroom it definitely provides less benefit. In a private bedroom model it can make more sense
@JoshtheRVNerd definitely agree.
I really like these floorplans, although I kinda prefer the pantry not in the slide for two side windows. Two thoughts on this one: wondering if that little side cubby for the sofa shouldn't be open to the front rather than boxed. I'm also not digging that wood tone. Still, a great RV.
I wondered about that cubby. I could see it either way
mainly here for the 95-05 music references but that’s a nice looking rig for the size and price
Those references are basically all I got
Otherwise I’m just chasing waterfalls
And we all know what happens when you go chasing waterfalls
When I bought my Radiance 25bh (same thing as the MPG version minus 2 zero's in the model name) the sales person basically said all things the same if it said Jayco on the side instead of Radiance it would easily be $10k more. Lot of value for money in these Cruiser RV's imo. But I can comment on the bed, you still cant change in the bedroom with the slide-a-bed feature. My wife has a cpap machine so sliding becomes a moot point with anything on the bedside shelves. Its better than not having it but its best to lower your expectations.
As someone who has carried both products for years, I can say without question it’s not the sticker on the side that makes a difference between them. Jayco do run more money, but they also tend to bring a higher trim package to the table.
That doesn’t take away from the fact these MPG models are a big bang for your buck. They really follow that 9010 rule where they give you a lot of good features without dinging the cost too hard. It’s when you start to go beyond that things get a little crazy.
Surely someone can come up with a way to support the slide edge in road mode. Perhaps incorporated as a slot under the peninsula.
Interesting idea..
This might be the one. Great storage/cargo space. The decor is very nice. Love the counter space. Nice fridge. Hooray for the "airfryer oven". Feels BIG inside. King bed...meh. I'd like a queen. Slide a bed meh. I didnt see any storage under the bed? I like the pleated shades. Are they Day/Night? Would be nice to have a household outlet in the slide. I use my laptop a lot! Nice pantry. Wish the shelves were adjustable. Radius shower works for me. Nice enough bathroom. Road mode is okay. Get rid of the exterior speakers. Thanks for the solar.
Night shades only
I would love to see a review of that trailer in the background at 1:30 with the rear deck
I will make it happen. Give me some time!
Roomy. Took a minute to dawn on me but with the mattress pushed to one side it looks like an air mattress could fit and mostly be out of the way. Interesting..
I can see many ways to run with this and at the price point personal mods will not be an issue. Those shower doors.. asides from shocks that should come standard, this really has to be changed to a curtain.
👍🏻 Thank you for watching!
2024 Heritage glen/Salem 22rkhl. I know it's "that" floorplan but curious thoughts/comments about the versa-tilt bed and how it impacts the floorplan
I actually have updated footage of that with the versatilt coming so stay tuned!
Because the RV was originally designed with a camp queen the versa-tilt has to be "up" for transit so the mattress can clear the slide
But you gain a true queen bed at a destination
Hi Josh, in your video there is a sign showing a price way bellow what is going for in the link, was there a special offer at that time?
There was a special offer happening at the time this was recorded
The brand was new to my home store so the mfg offered a special introductory price
I really like the floor plan, but I'm stuck on Jaco's with the 2 + 3 year warranty.
I get it. I like peace of mind myself
I could do with that slide-a-bed here in my apartment.
Little tight around there?
@@JoshtheRVNerd Yup 🙂
Josh I really like this one alot, you can deliver this one to my if only I could my winning lottery ticket, lol😂😂😂 I give this Lit🎉 24 ft MPG 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
😂 roger
🎉#NerdHerd...
#NerdHerd 🎉 😊 🎉
Josh, Why is the price listed on your link Sale Price:$35,999 but the placard on top of the unit states $24,995?
This footage was actually recorded a bit ago during an event in which the mfg assisted us in providing special pricing for the show
I am not in sales myself so unsure what discounts may be currently available
Have you ever done a video on the venture stratus 231vrb? It appears to be the sister in law to this one. I would like to see your input on the stratus. Thanks
I haven’t had a lot of chance to put my hands on venture rvs as of yet
@@JoshtheRVNerd ok ty sir.
We love watching your videos
Stool sample ... Well done, sir😅
😅
Does this camper come with a black tank flush if not why don't they add it
Can’t recall offhand. Our local folks can verify for you
Why is there a $11k (30%) difference in price between the show floor and the 'discounted' sale price on Bish's website?
Glad you asked. Several reasons
• Displayed show price benefitted from special intro pricing for the brand being added to my home store's lineup below normal invoice costs
• Displayed show price also benefitted from the MFG offering add'l discounts at the event
• The RV listed on our site is in Omaha, NE while the show unit was from our southern, michigan store. That means the one on our site has several thousands of dollars of add'l shipping costs the show unit did not.
And that's why I don't put pricing in videos if I can help it. Only a few quick variables impact pricing by thousands very, very quickly
24,995... dang that's a good deal
That was a show price that was also factory incentivized due to newly adding the brand to my home stores lineup
I would estimate that’s not currently available
@@JoshtheRVNerd ok good to know! because at that price I was poking around Google Maps to see how long it would take to get up to Coldwater, MI ;)
yeah we may be in the group that trades up our RV because the getting dressed in the bathroom. With three kids... it's a circus in the morning and at night.
Where can I find a price ?
What state are you located in.
Pricing at www.bishs.com/rv-search?stocknumber=2100rb
We have multiple stores across a lot of states
Where can I find one with the price that was above it on the banner.
Their sticker says $25k, yours is $36k I guess that is add ons? I like this but ....
We had mfg incentivized pricing at that event as I understand it
Why is this $35k on your website when it’s posted $25k in the video?
Video was recorded a while back with special pricing from the mfg as a new addition to our lineup
Interesting, but I would never buy anything made by Heartland.
All that for only $24,999?!?!?!
At that event we had some special pricing going on. Current pricing available on our site!
MPG... 🤔 Miles per gallon? Musician Peter Gabriel? Monkey performance gear?
The Peter Gabriel one got me
Very nice, very nice indeed. That glide-a-bed is new to me. I like it. I much prefer the breakfast bar and sofa/theater seats to a dinette.
Kitchen is fine, great that the fridge is in the slide. Aside from the bathroom, storage space should be more than adequate. I'd probably get a couple of those over the door hooks to hang more towels and robes on. At least the shower has decent head room.
Awning coverage is better than I expected. I'm surprised they're still putting outside speakers on RVs instead of just throwing in a bluetooth. The main use they see these days is to let water in. If you insist on installing them, at least put them on the bottom, not the top. Being half-ton towable is a major plus.
TY for watching first of all. I'm also a fan of those breakfast bars but I know they're not for everyone.
