- The Tinnitus Dampener is noise focused 1500 Hz that may offer relief for listeners whose "T" sound is near this frequency. This noise is part of the Tinnitus Noise Masking series on the channel.
The concept is that by introducing a different sound to the mind that is similar in frequency to the tinnitus, the mind can be distracted to this new sound while listening for awhile; 20-50 minutes is common, though some listen longer.
Each listener has a unique frequency and sound to their "T", so many noise frequencies have been designed, as well as broader frequency bands of noise like Pink Noise and Violet Noise.
Sometimes tinnitus sounds like noise, in which case, an alternate sound like crickets, cicadas or water sounds.
Thanks for listening, Dale

Thanks Dale for teaching me something: the pronunciation of tinnitus. I watched one of your videos yesterday and I thought you were pronouncing it incorrectly. I've always thought it was Tin-neye-tus. I stand corrected!
Depends on your english, UK/australian or american.
@@blu_m3
I looked it up online and listened must have been the American English version?
brits and us aussies say tin-eye-tus americans tinny-tus@@JohnMonks-sb3bj
I'm running for good headphones today
This is 90 per cent. Just wish something would block the pulsating😢
Stay strong, keep fighting you're not alone 💪
When I turn it off, only pulsing remains for many minutes!❤😂
@@lynnann96if you have pulsing tinnitus you need to get it checked out. It can be due to abnormalities of the carotid or jugular venous systems which may need treatment. If you’ve had it checked out already then ignore me. I’m a nurse practitioner and it’s one of the types of tinnitus we actually have to investigate the cause.
This noise nearly cut all my ringing out. Thank you. 🙏🏻
Any unexpected ads in this one?
