X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse is the sequel to the 2004 X-Men Legends. It was released in 2005 for the Xbox, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable and Gamecube. It even received an N-Gage release. It is an action roleplaying game that allows you to choose and control a team of 4 out of a pool of 18 playable characters from the X-Men universe. It was well received at time of release and is one of the predecessors to to the very popular Marvel Ultimate Alliance games.

Webslinger is one of nine very rare Unique pieces of equipment that can randomly drop.
The most I've ever accumulated is 6 of them , but I lost that file on a bad memory card.
I had to carry over the game 4 or 5 times just to get those six.
A couple of them are very effective all the way to level 99, but a lot of level 60 and 70 equipment can be as good as a most of these Unique pieces .

Web Slinger (belt) 225 Def, +10 strike, +20 speed
Apocalypse's Bane (belt) 75 Atk, 125 Def, +9% all resistances
Hammer of Nimrod (glove) 250Atk , 50 Def, 2X physical damage , 50% damage/sec
Vindicator's Gauntlets (glove) 150 Atk , 50 Def, +50% physical damage, +25 max damage
Wendigo's Fist (glove) 200 Atk, 50 Def , +15 Body, +5 health Regen
Eric the Red's Armor ( armor) 500 Def, 30 energy resistant , 30 electric resistance
Xavier's Dream (armor) 700 Def , 5 EP per KO , 29 mental damage
Exodus Cloak (armor) 50 Atk , 400 Def , +60 radiation damage for 5 seconds
And each of the base characters has a Unique piece of equipment that they can earn for themselves in their specific danger room challenge.
