- Ronnie Drew (Irish: Ránall Ó Draoi) 16 September 1934 16 August 2008) was an Irish singer and folk musician who achieved international fame during a fifty year career recording with The Dubliners. He was born in Dun Laoghaire, County Dublin.

This is heartbreaking for me as I have only recently discovered the deep deep joy of the Dubliners and the likes of Ronnie and Sean .I am heartbroken to know they are no longer with us.Fuck me what talent.
