Worst part about him is no matter how many times I tell CZcams I don't want his ads....I still get them
He worse than those natural man soap dudes
Get new pipe. Ad free youtube alternative
Same here! During the last month, I have tried to block his ads for about twenty times, but still they keep popping up. A real fucking nuisance.
@@PelicansCourtsideClub its gotta be hundreds of thousands, his ads are nonstop! The anons need crack his scam and put this man in jail 😂
There was an ad from him before this video for me which is kind of funny
The funniest Vshred ad is where he says “Stop doing cardio to lose weight or I’ll jump in this pool” 😂. This dude is such a joke
That comes up all the time for me and it doesn't make any sense!
Every time I see it I yell at my scream for him to jump in and stfu
You better watch every ad or I am gonna jump in this pool.
My response in my head every time is. Ok? What’s that have to do with working out? Is there something wrong jumping in a pool? Just do it and shut up lol
I was just about to comment this. I see that stupid ad all the time and it makes me want to shove an ice pick in my ear.
That Rogan thing pissed me off too. That's a new low.
V-shred is just the face of a marketing firms / content farms who specialises in making viral content. His videos are entirely intended to be clickbait with even attention from negative feedback being part of the plan. Guys like Mike Cheng and LIver King were the same, it doesn't matter how much they get exposed, the companies them are still making money and will just replace them with the next clickbait model. Basically all forms of social media are rife with these shitty content farms; 5 minute craffts for example is one of the biggest channels on youtube with 78 million subscribers and and the content they produce is mostly fake/staged. They get exposed over and over again and yet the channel keeps on pumping out conent. Nothings going to change until more attention, critisicm and regulation is put on the behind-the-scenes companies who produce this shit.
I thought I was going crazy for noticing it. Like no way this guy faked film himself being on jre for an Ad 🤣
That's absolutely hilarious.
That's where you draw the line? Hey, you can lie and exaggerate to the general public, all for your own gain. But DO NOT pretend to be a guest of Joe's! Haha
I almost believed it the first time I saw it lmao
One of the most insufferable lines in the Vshred advertisements is this fake story about some guy coming up to him in a coffee shop and asking him "how do you have such a good body?" As if anyone would do that IRL
ikr LOL
Gay guys might…?
That does happen particularly in coffee shops, where people like to go after working out.
I was on the beach last summer and a middle aged indian man told me I have a beautiful body and to keep taking care of it. It was wholesome.
@@solereeper3955 I think that was me
The fact that he put that much effort into faking being on rogan is hilarious lol
I almost believed it the first time I saw it lmao
@@bendover2425honestly, I didn’t question it. Rogan’s standard has really fallen in my eyes, dude surrounds himself with some real kooks. And he’s platformed some deplorable people(looking at you A*** J****
Bro. I see that and I was laughing at visually bad that he tries so hard to think he’s at Joe Rogan Podcast
I don't think he was trying to fake Rogan. The clip shows him talking to some guy
@@black9897 you’re not too bright, are you?
The worst part is that "Vince" or whatever the guys name is, is just the front for this VSHRED sham. Josh Brett made a great video breaking down how the scam all works and its really sad how they take advantage of the public. Keep up the great work Zack. Love your content, wish I could lift with you some day
Very right! V is just a face for a company or a paid actor. He doesn’t care about anything else except the pay check. V doesn’t think for himself he just makes money. It’s a good gig if you get it. Almost can’t knock V, he’s just doing his evil job.
yep he is just an employee reading a script.
Unfortunately consumer exploitation is currently the name of the game regarding the fitness industry. Well, most industries, but the whole "sell people on absolute bullshit by exploiting collective ignorance" seems to be particularly obvious and egregious to the point that it's constantly being talked about.
Honestly this really seems like an issue with American market regulations first and foremost. Shit like this should be illegal, false advertisement or intentional mismarketing/misinformation should be punished financially. The fact that people can just get away with outright scamming or exploiting people with no repercussions is maddening, and really an indication of what is wrong with the current American economic model.
He’s meant to be a well spoken “CZcamsr” type personality who looks desirable (whether through envy or through attraction) to trick people onto their website
Yes, it's time to put your big boy pants on and face the truth that adults do: that's what this life is, this entire society and especially go vt is "take advantage of the public"
Rich Piana is a prime example of how far honesty can take you in the eyes of the fitness industry. He didn't lie about his drug use. He owned it and advised young men against it.
Dude exposed the entire fitness industry in general. Even said a lot of things that could hurt his business but because of that honesty it just helped him blow up even more. Dude was probably the best and the original fitness influencer to ever exist even with all of his flaws. I personally loved his content.

Rich was the man and I'll always miss him. I never met him but I still think about him.
Problem with the v-shred guy, is that he is one of those people that can talk for 2 hours without actually saying anything.
Basically womanese… word salad without a point
I have you know he's incredibly intelligent and can speak 3 languages, bollocks, total bollocks and complete and utter bollocks.
Right... cause he's dumb as all hell and the gym is his church. I bet he can't even build a pc.
He actually says quite a lot if you listen to the videos. I ended up buying the program and I lost 45 pounds and have sustained that weight loss for two years.

Watching this in the gym and I’m going to small screen when vshred is on screen because I don’t want people to think I’m watching him

You better watch every ad or I am gonna jump in this pool.
Something you guys missed about VShred, he was straight up lifting old AthleanX videos when he was first getting started: from the exercises being performed to the verbiage he was using to try and explain his reasoning, and fucking it all up. I’m pretty sure the guy who yells from his car did a video about it, and Jeff and Jesse eluded to it at least once in one of their videos.
Yes Alan Roberts exposed him ages ago I watched it to . The guy who's shouts from his car 😅😅 perfect
Great video, really enjoy you both talking together.
Cheers Seb! Thank you for what you do.
I decided to see what the V-Shred program was about. I took his little quiz, and got my “body type.” I decided to join, out of curiosity, knowing I could cancel for a full refund.
The program is ONE PROGRAM- once you join, the body type thing is out the window, and everyone gets the same program, unless you pay extra ($187) for a customized program. You are also bombarded with emails- as many as 6 per day- pitching more supplements and programs to buy!
I was completely turned off by his pushiness as soon as I started! Now, I’m trying to get my money back, and I got a response to my email saying they’re busy, and it may be 10 days before they can get back to me! I’m totally disgusted, and I’m going to spread the word!
It would be funny to get a VShred commercial during one of these videos
THANK YOU!!! 🙌🏻 As a personal trainer myself, I am fed up of this V Shred asshole flooding my CZcams ads. This demonisation of exercise methods in favour of the one magical solution is just disingenuous. Whatever your health and fitness goals are, my messsage is DO WHAT YOU LOVE! If you enjoy a particular form of exercise then you are infinitely more likely to keep doing it. It's really that simple.
I remember being a 300 pound freshman in Highschool, and falling for a bunch of fads and conmen selling BS. Now that an adult, and I'm in shape and know about fitness I share the same anger and disgust. I feel sympathy for people who fall for it, especially young people bc I was there.
I just wrote a comment about this exact situation happening then I scrolled down to read this. Glad you found your way and didn't let them get you down with their BS. I feel others may not be so fortunate.
V Shred has been on his antics for years. Keep fighting the good fight
Agree with Zack here. Not too long ago Coffeezilla broke the story on logan Paul's crypto scam, yet just the other day they were shilling out Prime drinks and there was a huge audience cheering on. Dont think logan cries in bed for not getting respect from those he wants.
Edit: pretty sure his immediate circle would respect/admire him or at least be yes men so he's all good. Con men will exist (and even be content in life) as long as there are people to con.
Absolutely, if you're someone with zero integrity, you don't care about the respect of your peers.
I think, there are probably people that Vshred care about, but they're not in the fitness industry. They're "content moguls", influencers, con artists, etc. So he works to gain their respect
The Paul brothers wreak of fraud
I watch and subscribe to you because I respect you. These so called influencers, because of age and experience, I spot in an instant and pass. Over my 70 years as successful musician and athlete, you realize how many stupid, not just ignorant or naive, people there are. Just plain stupid. That’s all you need to know without overthinking it. Good on you Zach. You keep me motivated to keep trying to improve my snatches and CnJ despite my age and shoulder replacement. You give me hope that I can keep going and improving.
nice do you hang from a bar? that's supposed to help shoulders
Let's go Dana. It's very remarkable that you're able to snatch in the first place, not many youngers can do that!
Many people are stupid, many more are naive or ignorant. The real issue is that current marketplace regulations allow exploitations of this with zero repercussions, as long as you are paying your taxes, you can get away with misleading people, intentionally misinforming them and exploiting the ensuing ignore, and just straight up lying about your product to rake in as much cash as possible.
It's not just the fitness industry, it's everywhere, and huge controversies where companies promise one thing and provide a wildly inferior product to the expectation they profited from regarding pre-release sales, for example.
It's insane that this is legal, yes some people aren't even interested in educating themselves and sort of choose to be stupid, but at the end of the day, law should exist to protect the weak. I don't see why the weak minded are any different regarding that. We even see vast tax-free megachurches abusing charitable donations, charities themselves using the money as effectively just tax evasion and laundering for the rich, and organizations like Scientology (which is a cult but is first and foremost a way of committing mass fraud by stealing people's money en masse and funneling it back into the organization) go completely unpunished.
Realistically the state of society is going to get any better intelligence-wise until we have a system where many profit massively off of collective ignorance and stupidity (obviously also in a more meta sense regarding politics as well as unethical market practices). We live in a world where any person over 60 has probably experienced how necessary vaccinations are if you don't want to see kids shoved into something like an iron lung but people nowadays are in complete denial of this to the point that long-dead diseases have started to reestablish a foothold in places like the US. Misinformation and stupidity are actively harmful, it's completely mad that we've never seen a push to regulate the impact it can have.
We’re all idiots when dealing with things we’re ignorant off
This is fantastic timing. I just had to sit thru that ad and thought to myself 'wait, he appeared on Rogan?'
Thanks.
I am so glad that this video showed up randomly in my feed. I am now a subscriber. Please keep making great quality content! Thank you!
One thing I think that allows Vshred and so many fitness scam artists to get rich is how complicated fitness is for beginners. Experts like Zach rarely talk about what you should do when getting started, meanwhile Vshred and liver king inundate the market.
This is a fair fucking point. A lot of y’all don’t get how difficult this stuff can be for the poorer, less experienced, less educated, less fortunate folk… I’m doing this from a third world country with third world country means. A TON of these scams came my way at the start, a fair bit of my mates even fell for these, hell! I remember almost falling for an older version of VShred in my younger days… this shit has a lot of edges to it and a lot of the already established guys don’t get how easy it is for beginners to fall for these guys…
It actually isn’t that complicated. CZcams influencers muddy the waters and start drama with other influencers and people get lost.
They get rich because they MAKE Fitness complicated for beginners.
Fitness is simple. Eat good, eat appropriately, and workout.
Any specifics beyond those are unnecessary unless you have very specific performance or aesthetic goals.
Thank you for always being real!!!!

Saw this ad the other day and the set up had me laughing 😂
On a different note, I love you’re backdrop wall!!! Very cool!
I just watched their videos and it's very good.

I work in sales copywriting. We write ads that “sell the click.” That means we just need something that yields a high enough click through rate to send traffic to a funnel for a low cost. In the funnel, we need to write video or landing page copy that “sells the read” or keeps them reading or watching. The longer they watch, the more likely they are to buy. The more people who buy, the more money you earn that you can put right back into promoting the ad. So if you keep seeing a direct response ad everywhere, its probably because its working.
Same and I've written for Vshred and used their products.
Most of these people don't understand marketing at all and why something gets clicks. They just think it's all a scam. They don't realize that if an ad bombs, you don't see it again, ever. If it works you see it everywhere and it's the same in every single industry.
thats why even this video has a headline of "Why Vshred is THE WORST.." or why 99% of other YT vids have headlines like "Trump DISMANTLES Libtard student who asks question". It's all sensationalism because thats what gets the click.
The lemmings out here just don't realize how easy it is to get their attention
The OG, at least in the internet age, was Mike Chang. He had an awakening and basically did a mea culpa. That was a few years ago so it's possible he was working on a new con.
wait what? what happened with Mike Chang
That’s right! Six Pack Shortcuts.
I admit his ads were appealing to me when I was a noob to the gym. I quickly figured out it was nonsense, but it at least got me started on my journey.
He did ayahuasca and was fired from sps
I recently saw the ad for this guy where he says "stop doing cardio or else imma jump in this pool" but then some other guy popped up talking about him as if he was gonna debunk him or take him down...then he starts watching the guys ads and GETS CONVINCED HES LEGIT....then the normal "stop doing cardio or else imma jump in this pool" ad plays afterwards and it was so bizarre.

Yes but it's immensely harmful to people in the community within the short-term, and even now Athlean-X (less egregious but still misinforms so many people) and V-Shred, among others, are collectively feeding ignorance about fitness while profiting off of the misinformation they spread. It's obscene, and it's correct to be angry about it.
The issue is that due to their hyperexploitative marketing practices and the sheer amount of money being thrown into the scam, channel's like V-Shred are EVERYWHERE. I've been part of the community for well over a decade, I've educated myself on the subject and only follow somewhat credible channel's, and I'm STILL GETTING fucking V-Shred adverts almost every day, I'll report the ad, and another will be back the next day, or replaced with a totally different scam. For a person who's new to the community and being bombarded by this, they aren't being directed to useful channel's like Zacks, they are being funneled into the scams themselves, and this is going to alienate so many people from the get-go.
This is only going to get worse when the bigger companies get a whiff of how easy it is to scam people. This isn't just going to go away because of CZcams's current lack of regulation and refusal to actually enforce a basic code of conduct outside of whatever the fuck it is they did recently with the "adult/kid" split, which basically encourages exploitation of freaking children as well.
Quality content can have a meaningful impact on those who watch it, but such content is currently being buried in a quagmire of ever-increasing sewage...
It's not about life not being fair, it's about platforms like CZcams deliberately encouraging unfairness because they make more money that way.
Great stuff Gents, much respect!
Telly I'm becoming more and more of a fan. Keep up the good work ese.
He’s not actually “Vshred”. Vshred is a brand that has a board of directors that literally hired him as the face of Vshred. That isn’t his brand, they aren’t his ideas, or anything of that nature. He’s essentially an actor.
I was kind of hoping that instead of just complaining about this guy, they would dismantle his program and say how it was wrong.
Most fitness industry doesnt know right from wrong they dont even have day 1 physiology knowledge they just parrot what the criminal system indoctrinates them with
The thing is Chris seems to be under the impression that VShred is a person. Vince is just an employee of a soulless corporation, and as long as he gets his check, he doesn't care about the "industry" or being respected. He's not even in the fitness industry, he's in the grifting industry.

He was a model… so likely he has been hired as the face of this company
Vshred copied a lot of AthleanX videos even down to the thumbnails, but at certain points it was obvious that he didn't fully understand the exercise or anatomy as he recited his script. At some point Jeff and his crew discovered it and started putting pressure on him so he made new videos of his own exercises which were laughably bad, so much so that AlthleanX made a point to break down all the reasons why they were absolute junk.
AthleanX is barely any better. Guy had to fake a deadlift because his lifts are shit.
Alan Roberts from EDDF made videos of Vshred copying AthleanX 5 years ago or so. Literally copied exercise to exercise. Hilarious.
When I first wanted to start losing weight I saw his ads and thought oh man this looks good. Then I sat down thinking about it, and thought nah it sounds to good and the reason you’re interested at all is you want results without effort, then I joined a gym, started boxing and doing pole fitness and I’ve lost 30kg and I haven’t even really fixed my diet yet. That’s happening now.

I’m so glad I’m not the only one. Every single time I see that stupid ad with the red background, all I can think is “Bro you weren’t on Rogan”
At the end of the day, they have money, but they have to live with themselves and a bunch of people who are only after clout or their money. I’m sure there are a lot of well deserved tears that we don’t see. That brings me a little bit of peace.
When they get in their Ferrari and drive from their McMansion to Starbucks, they really don't care. At the end of the day, they're driving a Ferrari from their mansion.
Unfortunately, perception is everything online. Most people don't bother doing their own due diligence when looking for information on health and fitness. To me, Liver King is the same as v Shred - they both look "good" (depending on what your subjective definition of that is). I've seen this on social media...it's basically "these guys look good so therefore they must know what they're talking about."

This is a good overview of charlatans. I get so frustrated and hopeless both at them but even more so at the people that keep falling for scams over and over. If there wasn't a market for this, a collection of rubes, it wouldn't be happening (and have happened since the beginning of time). Many of the things people fall for aren't even good scams. And then you have places like CZcams willingly accepting money from scam artists to air their ads incessantly (there are much worse and more obvious than VShred), some of which are completely amateurish and obvious bullshit. The advertising networks should be held liable.
He's Mr. Sexy, and he's coming to steal your girlfriend. He's going on tour to every major city in the United States stealing girifriends, and your town is next, you better lock your girlfriend away somewhere. Your girl is next pussy. I bought v shred a few years ago. It’s all upselling and supplements. The workouts are very challenging for a layperson and not tailored at all to the body types. The value is in the information he gives for free after the body type quiz. No need to purchase anything.
I’m glad this was addressed. I’ve only ever seen his ads but I know his bullshit. I lost 1/4 of my weight through cardio and counting calories. It’s a very simple equation.
I’ve tried to stop seeing VShred ads for years now it won’t stop.

Those are some god tier shirts Zack 👌
You’re growing.
Life’s simplest fact: people want to be SOLD LIES.
The truth, takes effort, goals, a plan, actuating the plan and sticking to it FOR LIFE… aka… EFFORT!
The lie, only takes one’s suspended reality. If it SOUNDS GOOD and SOUNDS EASY, they want that. NOT because they want the “lie”… they DONT WANT to make EFFORT so much, they choose the OPPOSITE of effort.
This is the difference between a child (immature) and an adult (mature).
Look at you guys out here doing the lords work ❤
All what you said was like straight out of my head what I thought of this crap.
"...Imma jump in this pool!" Bring some heavy stones with ya.
I watched a vshred add today and ran 10 miles. I hope he drowns in that pool.
I’m glad I researched before I bought. I’m not fat fat, but I’m about 50lbs overweight. I would be happy to just lose half of that and learn to generally eat better and have better overall health so I can live long enough to retire and have grandkids, even if I’m not the stereotypical “fit” guy. I’m usually pretty good about seeing through bullshit, but he almost had me. At the end of the 30 minute video on the website and when they were rushing to buy is when I realized I just got sucked into one of those late night BS informercials. You’re not the first one I saw that said it was a scam, but you definitely laid it out the best.
I hate how creative and conpetent he is at tricking people, when he could use his talents and still become wealthy.
"If you can become successful in crime, you could have been successful in anything" - Al Capone I think. Same goes for Andrew Tate. He and his brother are so unbelievably entertaining. The male equivalent of the Kardashians. He could have become rich from his talents, yet chose to take advantage of young men and woman.
I’ve seen these V Shred ads for years. They give me a good laugh. He’s never been on a legit podcast or collaborated with any of the MANY legit fitness channels because he would be torn to shreds.
I don't think charlatans care about being respected by the community they're trying to make money off. It's just make as much money as you can before getting caught and bailing when the well dries up.
I agree. The thing that intrigued me about Vshred is how they have been around for long without having to change their name or things like that. The only thing I can come up with is that they have an amazing marketing and legal team. Vince being really good looking helps but they have been around for like 8 years now so it is more than just him being good looking.
To the over weight folks reading. Try this….
Sign up to a gym.
Do elliptical on weight loss setting to start off. Should be about 30 mins~ stretch.
Then do some light weighted work outs on machines. About 10-20 lbs but 20 repa a machine.
Do this for two weeks. Then the next two weeks do 30 min elliptical followed by 30 mins of another form of cardio
Then just alternate every two weeks until u get stronger to do a bit more as in higher settings.
U can take two days off a week for the workouts.
Next, ur diet. Dont eat until 12 pm. Follow a keto diet w super low carbs. If ur not sure about a food, google to see if keto friendly. Diet is the hardest for the first 2 weeks and ull get used to it.
Good luck.

I caught that Rogan setup too.... I was like Jesus guy are you really that low.
This guy had so much information to look up that I’ve been inspired to do it myself for free. At least he’s good for something 🤣
It's okay to admit you want him, he's Mr. Sexy. His chest is mesmerizing, his hair is perfect, the muscles in his butt cheeks are big and hard as a rock. He's so steamy, and sticky, and sexy. He's gonna steal girlfriends all over the United States.
8:24 Chris has fallen into the exact same trap that Zack is talking about. Little if any part of Liver King’s advice matters because it’s A) unobtainable (his recovery is affected by roids/his diet advice is flat out ridiculous) and B ) primarily if not solely given to sell his products.
But “hey man he’s relatable, he’s just trying to teach people about diet and exercise” my brother is Christ he’s trying to sell supplements lol
I think he said that he had a 'relatability' as opposed to being relatable. He was just pointing out how he can endear himself to those less savvy.
@conker690 What's his diet advice? Carnivore? Carnivore isn't ridiculous but obviously his physique is artificial.
@@mr.brenman2132 carnivore is a ridiculous fad, let alone carnivore with such a heavy emphasis on organs
@@conker690 To most Americans eating a healthy species specific diet is a fad. There is nothing ridiculous about it. The organs thing is Liver King nonsense.
@@mr.brenman2132 what’s a “healthy species specific” diet? Is that organic meat?
Because frankly eating a vegetable is something Americans thinks is a fad lol. But here Liver King is telling you to double down in your unhealthy obsessions.
I’m a 20 year old dude who goes to the gym decent physique 12-15% body fat and keep learning more and more about cutting and gaining weight by the day gaining more and more knowledge. Luckily I had good friends when I was 16 who taught me all the shit the right way. I know people who actually see the v shred ads and think it’s that easy. It’s just sad to see someone profit off of scamming or selling people false hope.
Who all tried to skip his ad when you played it haha
I took this quiz earlier today 😢
If you like charlatans, check out Tony Chowdury of Fusion Gyms in Philadelphia, now the largest gym in America.
Speaking of liver king - has his stock plummeted? I never really followed him much
Keep in mind that the guy you see in the VShred ads is not "vshred". Vshred is a company, not one guy, he's just a face. H's part of it, and shares the blame for sure, but it's a company of charlatans.
The Vshred dude is just an actor/frontman for a marketing company. He is a clueless puppet.
I clicked on the research links he says he used for his program and all links were dead. I thought it was strange and didn’t think about it again. Must have been about 20 links.
If I have to see one more of his adds, I'm going to jump in this pool.
Whenever people say "don't hate the player, hate the game" just remind them that Hitler was a player in politics and the game put him on route to do what he did.
Got a great charlatan call out post on tap! I just have to beat my writers block...
