Worldskills China 2017

6-9 June 2017 the Belarusian national team "WorldSkills Belarus" took part in international championship of "China International Skills Competition 2017" (CISC2017), which was held in China.
The Championship was attended by over 400 participants and experts from 35 countries. The Belarusian team was represented by 18 College students, University students and young workers who demonstrated their skills in 15 areas. In the competence "Plumbing and heating" Belarus was represented by Artem Ryzhuk (UO "Kobrin state Polytechnic College"), and the expert from Belarus in this competence by Dmitry Krupennikov. Our national team won 2 medals (silver and bronze) and 2 medals "Medallion of Excellence".
In January 2014, the Republic of Belarus officially became the 68th member of the international organization WorldSkills International (WSI), whose mission is to improve the status and standards of vocational skills and training worldwide.
2016 GRUNDFOS became a partner of the Belarusian team WSI, as the popularization of working professions and proper motivation of youth in this direction play an important role for the economic development and future prosperity of Belarus.
The importance of WorldSkills International for all member States and for Belarus in particular was noted and the Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov at a meeting on the development of this movement in
Republic, which took place on 14 June 2017. During the meeting the head of the government targeting government agencies and private companies to support this movement.
Now the national team "WorldSkills Belarus" is ready to represent Belarus at the international championship "WorldSkills Competition in 2017" in Abu Dhabi (UAE), which will be held in October.
