  • Thanks for viewing our video on this 1996 Ford Bronco restoration. The Ford Bronco lived most of its life in the salt belt of New England (Massachusetts) and was very rusty. The restoration underwent a 1+ year restoration with many of new parts such as rocker panels, quarter panels, front fenders and chrome bumpers. The interior was restored with brown leather and a custom sound system was installed along with a soft topper soft top and roll cage for added safety. The Bronco is stock height due to height restrictions in the family's garage but its setup on a set of oversized BFgoodrich all terrain tires on American racing wheels. In 2002 I bought my '96 XLT for $3,600. I had the transfer case and the trans rebuilt, a new custom exhaust, a/c rebuilt as well as the front end redone... But then the harmonic balance went out and gouged the crank case cover so I parked it but never had the time or money to fix it so its been sitting for 8 years. I want to get it back on the road and really hope the motor hasn't seized up on me. I get offers from people wanting to buy it but there's no way I will sell it. The interior is in mint condition but it needs a paint job.

have a 1996 xlt bronco with 125k miles. looking to do a partial restore as it was a west coast rig and has minimal rust spots on the rear fenders. how much do you figure it would cost to have a reliable shop get it modernized? for example.. update electrical, headlights, suspension, exhaust, brakes, tune up, and a few other necessary items given its age.

How Mitch would a body off restoration range for a 5th generation Bronco?

Longer, more detailed videos would be great on your builds.
