Crazy to think that truck could be mine
These trucks are seriously good. Look how many are still on the road today.
Yup! in my area still have a li'l lot of these on the road, plus mine, a 1992 F150 4x4 manual 5 spd, inline six 300, a beast, with high mileage, and still run great..
I miss them years life had a different Meaning
This is awesome. I wish I could see what my 1993 Ford F-150 looked like brand new in 93.
I wish I could’ve seen my 1990 crew cab dually f350 new! It’s a conversion truck
I still own what I think is the last of the REAL compact pickups built. 2011 v6 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 extended cab. its built of real steal and minimal computer garbage. Todays ford trucks are thin stamped metal and 4cyl engines with a turbo to force power out of something it shouldn't. Has a standard trans and not some computer drives 8 speed automatic. It has 63k miles on it and has never seen the dealer since driving it away in December of 2010. Ill keep it over any small new truck today.
17:20 That's mine right there 😀
That’s exactly like my 94F150XL 4x4 inline six at 4:10. It now has 280000 on it and still going strong I absolutely love it.
Its crazy how the robots were already doing half of the job. And it was the 90s!!
Awesome..
Wondering how they done it for new Broncos today..
The 90s weren't the stone age.
It was already quite modern, especially '95 and up...
Are you joking? They've been around since 70's
1990,s Ford trucks are still my favorite.
300 6 AKA 4.9l 5.0 and 7.3 power stroke are the ones I have.
The odd thing about the 302/5.0 is it was actually a 4.9l not a 5.0l. ford marketed the 5.0 with that name to keep from confusing it with the 300 i6.
I purchased a new blue and white 1979 Bronco with the quad front shocks, captain chairs, 400 engine, roll bar and every option available. The most incredible vehicle I ever owned. I traded it for a 1984 Toyota FJ60. I regret that day.
Very nice!
I currently own 4 of these trucks, and have previously owned many of them. Watching this video makes me proud. I don’t know how but it gives me a good home feeling driving these around my rural countryside. I will be buying the new bronco after it comes out.
Sell me one?
These are the REAL thing. The new one is garbage. I wouldn't throw my money away on that POS.
Just 4?
New bronco pile of shit
I wouldn't buy a new bronco. I test drove one and it creaked and rattled more than my 93 f150. Plus no V8 😢.
i own a 1996 F-150 just love it ... 202K miles on it no problems really...just a radiator,,, and brake jobs... tune up on motor, thats it... i guess i got a good truck... Haha.... 6cyl and 5 speed eddie bauer unit... real nice truck 1/2 ton...
My 89 f250 still has its Michigan truck sticker, still going strong. (Edit) motor finally blew at 560k miles what a unit it was.
Back when ford was true American king of the road.
One of my cousins owns one of these gen F-150s. Such a beautiful truck
I miss my 89 full size bronco
I love my 1996 F-250 it’s been very good to me.
Imagine finding a pair of brand new seats still wrapped in the bag
A junkyard near me has a shipping container with 5 or 6 brand new 92-97 bench seats still in the wrap
@@theotherhomer where you at?
@@DuckSongFan Albuquerque NM. Yard just went out of business though.
Wow the powerful engine 5.0
I remember my grandpas 95 f150. Single cab, bench seat, black and beautiful.
Awww the video means a lot to me because it shows me the very people who probably help build my 1995 f150 xlt 5.0 short bed!.
same here..I have a 1995 f150 Eddie Bauer with almost 300K on it..still going strong..4.9 I6
@@mebe2k crazy my truck just cracked the 300,000 mile mark.
Built ford Tough! Truly. Not Built Ford Aluminum like today
I would go to work with a smile on my face every day. I can't believe they pay me to do this.
Quality is Job #1
Quality is job #1 was retired in 1998 ford doesn't build quality vehicles anymore.
I have a 1995 f250 I built for myself completely rebuilt it how I like it I won't ever sell it.
cars transport our bodies. the bronco was created for the flight of the soul!
I remember touring the Ford factory when they just started the raptor. Cool experience
Wow, talk about a throwback. That blue F150 at 4:30 looks identical to my step-dad's old '95 F150 that he bought new many years ago. That was a great truck
Goat
Man I wish I was alive during this era
Me too....your generation is the most ungrateful, worthless, entitled humans to ever walk the earth.
Love my daily 79.
I work there now
Una de mis favoritas.
Owner of a 1979 and I will only sell it once I’m not capable of driving due to aging and I’m only 49.😎🤙
34 with a 88 and till death do us part
Excelente empresa!
Hermosa camioneta!

Those Ford F-Series and Broncos were the edge in quality and engineering from FoMoCo in 1990's
Their excellent engines dead reliable an powerful engines, excellent gearboxes, especially their manuals, solid frames, generous size and comfort were a winning formula for the Blue Oval
The OJ Simpson Bronco has made these truck iconic
By the way, These F-Series and Broncos were also made in Venezuela by Ford Motor de Venezuela from Complete Knock Down and national components, Standard and Supercab F-Series were made, these trucks were equipped with 300 carbureted engines, 302 and 351 Windsor EFI V8 engines, 7.3 IDI Diesels for F450 only, Automatics and 5 speed manual gearboxes were offered along with two or four wheel drive options, No 300 EFI, 460 EFI 385 Series V8 or 7.3 Powerstroke engines were offered in venezuelan markets officially
The only thing that killed these trucks were the very poor fuel economy, strong competition from Toyota with it's Land Cruiser Series 70 and Hylux offerings, but otherwise these trucks will almost never fail
That's all folks
My Pappaw (mom's side) and my Dad were both working at this plant in 1994. Sadly, neither are in the video. Pap retired in 2004 or 2005 and Dad transferred to Livonia about 10 years ago. Pap passed away March 2022 from lung cancer. If anyone reading this remembers Sammy Thornsberry, that was him.
Great video. I’d love think that those were the. Folks who’s hands built my 92 Nite edition Bronco
Pura Calidad 😍😍😍😍
Can't wait for it to come back
Were you able to wait?
It's not the same
Excellent video! Been in the Wayne Assembly Plant several times!
This is lit. Been at MAP since 2020 and it’s cool to see how far this vehicle has come. I put the rear axle on the truck 🙌🏾
Would you of worked there in the early 90s?
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 my loveeee 💓💓
I own a 78,72, and a 1996 bronco . I’ll never sell mine !! I’ve owned a 87 and a 92 as well.
I’m was glad to see that guy putting the Silver Anniversary badge’s on the Currant Red ‘91 Bronco @3:02
I just bought one a month ago,
and apparently they only made 2800 of that version,
I can’t help but wonder if that was the one I have now ?
I'm getting one.
One of these old Michigan Truck Plant videos has my grandfather in it, but i sadly cant find it anywhere, i actually owned the truck he was with in the video tape too for a bit, its a quick thing, but he just says "michigan truck plant" and closes the door to his truck and it shows the little sticker with the bronco and such..i remember as a kid thinking that it was super freaking cool that my grandfather was in a video tape
I hear your mom's on a few video tapes circulating around, too......
My 91 f150 was built in the Norfolk VA. plant....👍
My 04' Expedition was made at that same Michigan plant... Nice video.
Very cool!
These are some big suvs
I work at a honda manufacturing plant now, it's interesting to see how different, yet similar it all is
Had a red 1990 Eddie Bauer. 5.8 was strong. Miss that truck. Traded it in for a new 1993 Ranger STX. Biggest mistake of my life.
I had an 89 white a 351..It was a nice truck and loved to drink gas.
I'm pretty sure the bronco came out in 1966 in the United stapes
Forget the Eddie Bauer edition, I want the OJ Simpson edition you get leather gloves and a Bowie knife also a face mask just in case. Also Al Cowlings takes you for your first test drive you get to ride in the back seat on the 91.
Fascinating to watch these old assembly line videos....guys shooting paint with no masks, hardly any PPE at all.
My aunt said Ford estimated a life expectancy of 71 for folks who were in the paint shop at this time due to the shit they were breathing in.
My grandfather died last year at 70.
Had a ‘96 F150 that was built there
Let’s not forget, the first Broncos were a stolen identity of the international scout 80 🤣. Scouts we’re doing so well Ford decided to join that market and just added a touch of mustang and f-series to a scout body to produce what y’all love.
Thanks INTERNATIONAL!!!!
The Bronco was based off the Jeep and Jeep was a vehicle Ford actually helped design during WW2. The same guy who designed the 1966 Bronco was the same guy who designed the Jeep. Learn your history before you start spouting a bunch of nonsense.
What about the NITE Edition Bronco 1992?
My options are the 1987 ford f150 XLT, 1988 XLT 4X4, 1989 XL, 1990 Custom and 1991 Nite. Now The 1992 Ford F-150 Nite & Custom& Lighting, 1993 XL & Flare Side, 1994 XLT, 1995 Eddie Bauer and 1996 XLT 4X4. The 1987 Ford Bronco Custom, 1988 XLT, 1989 XLT 4X4, 1990 Eddie Bauer and 1991 Nite & 25th Silver Anniversary Edition. Then the 1992 Ford Bronco Nite, 1993 Custom, 1994 XL, 1995 Eddie Bauer and 1996 Sport.
I loved the Nite. Ford should being that back. Would fit in perfectly with all the black out nonsense in style today.
@@LynxStarAuto actually instead Id go for the Ford F-150 XL and Custom but with a grill that is chrome as well as the headlight Trims

Wish the sound went all the way thru video.
Ah, back when Trucks were Trucks, and Broncos were Trucks too. All with V8 power. The good old days. Oh and you didn't need an 8 year loan to get one.
🇧🇷🤝🏻🇺🇸👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🤝🏻👍🏻
Cuz Broncos r the best SUV an there built like a tank
I’ll buy one. When does it come out?
They were built in the 90s, was this comment from 1992! 😂
Ésas sí eran trocas no como las que asen ahora
i need a new tailgate, front and rear bumper please😂
you and every bronco owner
I need to build a time garage to time travel back to the 90s and order one of these trucks brond new.
I hired in to Michigan Truck plant 1/3/95. 😄
Got any cool stories you’d share? I have a 95 f250 7.3 ext cab white !
These sure were beautiful 4x4s todays trucks arent the same i know we have to move with the times but cant we just get a working mans truck back on the lots? Nothing fancy a single cab with just a cd player ac/heat and a simple 4x4 switch to turn on when it snows and some lights and a cig lighter with a ash tray? Trucks today are fancy and for a top of line one is $80 to 90K
I wonder what a side by side comparison of todays assembly line work in the US looks like.
No sightings of OJ Simpson
Well i need a new bed a new door probably a new tailgate and a new cab, need it asap
i just realized them ford company gave the ford trucks and broncos the big long catalytic converter after the pre cat
should never have sold mine. Did end up as lead car on TV show Fortitude in the 3rd and final series.
Is that Weird Al at @7:45?
And When The Process Of Building An Automobile May Start Please Remember To Use A Rust Proofing Coating So That The New Automobiles Won't Get So Rusty All Over The Bottom And Top
REAL Broncos and REAL trucks. Not the TRASH Ford is making today.
Imported from Michigan..
Sadly I've seen so many at the junkyard
And I have one sitting in my driveway
Almost every one I've seen at the salvage yard was either wrecked or has over 300000 miles on it.
I'll never understand why any American would buy a foreign brand truck. I live and work in the USA. I want to spend my money on other people who live and work here and pay taxes. I also don't want corporate profits going overseas. Besides that, I want to drive the best truck in the world.
3:40 mark. No compromise? Yeah where is the V8?
Have you driven a Ford lately?
They started building these trucks with the cheapest imported 26 gauge metal
these trucks were built when people could afford them.
In 88 Ford injected their 5.8 and it ran like a scalded jack rabbit.
I own a 2010 f150 I had an incident coming out of Walmart and I dropped the groceries, I pounded on the door to ask her to unlock the door, I wound up with a 1000.00 dollar damage

Stolen American jobs.. Are there cars made here anymore? GOAT
The plant is called Michigan Assembly Plant and produces the Ford Ranger and Ford Bronco.
And the bronco sport is built in Mexico 😢
Ah to think all them are probably rust buckets now
Too bad Ford doesn’t make any reliable beautiful trucks like these older Broncos anymore. Ever seen the new ones that just came out? Lol, they should be ashamed to even call them Broncos, what a joke.
At least they are a little better looking than the jeep Wrangler.
I doubt more broncos were sold in Iceland than in Venezuela.
new ones are junk compared to these tanks
If you're a fan of plastic simulating chrome, and cheap steel from China buy one
I agree on the plastic some of it is pretty bad but not all as for the chrome that depends I've seen like the bumpers have great chrome as for still yeah like all trucks of that era they didn't have great paint protection.
It's just a way to sell shit to needy customers
You hear about the Bronco coming back then drive by your local Ford dealership to see the complete FAIL and how they ruined it. We all expected the OJ version Bronco not the crap the slap the Bronco name on now. GM failed as well in the NEW BLAZER!! cough cough ....... for your grandma to drive..........
you want a 2 door Expedition basically
Took em 20 yrs to make a bronco
