Seems to me like Schecter just make great guitars. I'm really happy with this guitar and how it plays.

It’s one of the nicest looking guitars that I’ve seen. It definitely isn’t ugly.
I have one. I think it covers all the bases better than most. Blues, rock, country, anything you want. I played an American Tele, Strat, Les Paul, Gretsch, at church and this is better than all those to be honest.
Just ordered one before i found this video. Im a fan of low output pickups. Great video.

Treated myself to one of these for Xmas, been after a Tele style guitar for a while but just couldn't justify the price for a fender. Schecter just seem amazing quality for the price.

@@andydavid9 Would you say its more guitar for your money than a tele player series is it noticeably heavier in weight than a tele player thanks
@@eckeynecker not sure man, it’s heavier than my American deluxe strat. I’ve never played a player series tele so I can’t say for sure.
I can say, in comparison to guitars I’ve played under £1000 it’s well worth the money! Most cheap guitars Ive played don’t compare to my strat or lespaul in feel or quality. To me, this guitar does!

I have been looking for a HH guitar and just picked up a used one of these in my local shop. The looks are what got me first but it played so smooth. Considering making an offer below what they’re asking and making it a project guitar(pickups, wiring, bridge)

@@andydavid9 update, i ended up ordering the nick johnston hss model. it fits better for what i need and comes with better features

I’ve been looking at this and the NJ Trad. I realize Schecters are underrated. Most money from Fender and Gibson go into marketing the same old thing. These new brands like Schecter and PRS put little money into marketing and a lot of money into R&D - aka making their products better. QC is so low on Fenders and Gibsons now….
One comment, if I may, would you be able to do a no effect clean tone to set a baseline for pickup tones? That’d be super helpful, I think! Still, thank you for the reviews!

It's not ugly!
Why does the selector switch arrive loose when I try to purchase this guitar online? It's happened twice. And by loose I mean, it's not even attached. Comes right out
super sick playing man, i have the nick johnston but I am not a fan of the modern neck, It feels like the frets are too far apart for my fingers if that makes sense lol. Does the Pt Fastback have the same neck as the nick johnston?
The fastback has a super thin neck and a flat fretboard. I think the fretboard feels flatter because of how thin the neck is. It’s a great solid guitar

Hey man! Thanks! I’m pretty sure that I’m just using a neural DSP plugin but not sure which one. It wouldn’t have been my amp and board as I’m pretty sure it had broke by the time I filmed this
Actually, just realised my amp was working so it would have been the Marshall probably going into a JHS moonshine, JHS series 3 chorus and a timeline and blue sky

Does this guitar handle metal, high gain well?
It can handle high gain pretty well, but not metal playing. It sound too great when chugging etc…

Thanks dude! It’s pretty heavy man, as there’s no chambering. It’s literally a solid slab of wood. I haven’t played it for a long time standing up yet so I can’t help you out on that yet!

2:07 God, the remains of the plastic film that protects the pick guard are POISON for my OCD. I know nobody's going to see that, but I personally HATE when it's so attached to the base of the knobs that you can't remove it well. I have this very same guitar and since I can't stand seeing plastic chips peeking out from under the knob, I had to unmount the screws to detach the plastic film completely.
I thinks it's beautiful.

The black one with the maple fingerboard isn't ugly at all. The gold/white combo ain't my cup of tea either.
Can i find anything bad about it ? look how nice the back is lol .
