With Billie and Thea they should have empathized that they inherited their dads innocence and naivete,but made them talk more like the young people do in 2020

@@steveschenker1380 The point is, there are ways of introducing the next generation that honors the original, and their fans. I'm cautiously optimistic, but we've been let down too many times recently.
@@caricue I don't think gaining new fans is a huge concern for these guys. They aren't Disney trying to build a 15-movie franchise. They will certainly be done with Bill & Ted after this one.
@@steveschenker1380 I know literally nothing about the makers of this movie. I'm sure you are correct (assuming Disney doesn't drop a truckload of money on them and change their minds). I'm just really disappointed in the recent remakes and reboots that seemed to be more interested in pushing an agenda than entertaining.

Alex Winter really still on point as the energetic one of the two (Ted must be the one going through the depression phase because it doesn't feel right) and Bridgette really does an excellent Ted vibe.
Judging by how Ted says “I’m tired dude” in the second trailer I think you’re right, I think Ted’s kinda depressed and sad because he’s realising that their destiny has ruined his relationship with his wife and daughter
I feel it’s a combination of that and genuinely being disappointed that the Stallyns hadn’t quite lived up to what he’d dreamed of and what they were supposed to be destined for

And thats what Im afraid of. Because they dont save the world, their daughters do so the series should have been about them if thats the case. It would be just as relevant to see a story about how Bill and Ted's parents met and ultimately divorced for Missy.
@@JustPassingThrough34 Or it could be a whole alternate versions of Bill & Ted. Because in the second trailer there's prisoner version, and rich version of themselves. Including that one shot of multiple Phone Booths.
Assuming they originally did but the pressure of knowing the future and everything lead to them not actually doing it in this version until their daughters.
@@DanPlotMix thats an issue I think, they shouldn't have shown that alternate timeline because youre basically just breaking time travel rules. Like they tech would be from a future that doesnt exist so they would not be able to travel there in the first place.
I thought it was pretty clear from the second one that this was more of the "Chicken and the Egg" type scenario where the future only exists because they go back to set it in motion and all actions lead to the same outcome which is Bill and Ted writing the song and creating world peace.
I am happy that Samara Weaving is getting some awesome roles. But the story is about them, despite them being some grade a F-Ups finally doing something on their own that leads to universal peace and a lot more water slides. If their daughters write the song its just another case where they couldn't do it and needed someone else to guide them.

Ted seems to be acting very serious. He didn't even smile.
I think/ hope they are depressed. Life didn’t turn out like they were told. They are in their 50s and have real world issues like most single fathers in their 50s that refuse to grow up.
That seems to be Ted’s issue, he’s actively trying to move on and fix his relationship with his family whilst Bill is still fully enthralled by their destiny and past success in the music industry and just wants to keep it going. I think the movie will end with the song that unites the entire world being their final song before the band breaks up and the duo put their family first and get real jobs

Just think if you did time travel and bring back 2 princesses to marry from the past. Those 2 women had they stayed in the past would have had many children and descendants in the millions by Bill and Teds time. So by taking them out of the past to marry them Bill and Ted basically snuffed millions of people out.
No because the Bill & Ted series runs on a pre-destination paradox so no matter what Bill & Ted would always go back and meet the princesses

It’s streaming on demand August 28. Who the hell would want to go to theater right now anyway? Just buy a big ass TV and watch from the safety of your own home. The movie going experience is a nightmare anyway, spending $15 buck to smell everyone else’s food and hope to dear god that someone doesn’t talk or open up their goddamn smartphone
i don't eat their food there, it's not healthy, i only eat healthy food and snacks. i don't stream, download or burn stuff. i don't even have Netflix at all. i rather go to the movie theaters and watch movies there, i'm old school

Bill and Ted 3 is so epic from beginning to end and it’s great ending to finish the trilogy
Keanus career of late has seen critics berating his performances for his deadpan delivery. Only now am I beginning to suspect he has undergone some surgical procedures. I'm just not feeling the "Ted" in Bill and Ted.
They were a lot more stoned while making both films back then. Reeves was practically incoherent during most press interviews and Winter had to carry him. Since River Phoenix's death, he cleaned up his act considerably. And consequently, neither he nor Winter are quite the same as their younger selves. Their "daughters" carefully studied the younger B&T to get stuff down pat but that just contrasts badly with the older B&T and how much they've aged and changed. These are not the same B&T of old.
Most of Keanu's fans are already aware of his deadpan delivery. Also cannot judge the movie based on one clip. We will see soon. :)
Ted is a bit more broken down and 'realistic' in this movie. I noticed in the movie Bill is the one with more optimism. I mean after 25 years of trying to make that one perfect song and failing each time, one of them had to break sooner or later.
No no no. I am speaking of his critics of 47 Ronin, Constantine and other later movies. DO NOT GET ME WRONG. Bill and Ted as well as point break were part of me growing up. Keanu can do no wrong but his CRITICS have panned him for such. I've only seen clips for the new movie and I will watch it and most likely love it, but...
