Buffet is a cultural icon. A great story teller who could turn a phrase and teach us about the tropics and mystical places in our hearts and minds. He valued people, family, relationships, our coastlines. Thank you for your artistry, Jimmy. I miss you. I miss Fruitcakes and One Particular Harbor, Stars on the Water, Biloxi. I am taken back in time to a place pre Oil Spill with Seminole Winds, waukela springs, limestone waterways , park preservation. Love to Gulf Islands National Seashore Parks.

Jimmy had been playing those songs for almost 40 years and even in his older years, he always seem to play them with passion.
