Game Description: A different type of "Tower Defense" experience. Defend your base against the onslaught of enemies, but be careful with your money... they can fight back.
Designs inspired by Tower Battles.
Some mechanics loosely inspired by Battle Cats.

Also do note that this game HEAVILY relies on google doc strats trust me
you should try baitting the bosses with weak things like soldier while your main defense attacks the boss btw and yeah the unit upgrading system works like that there is a tutorial but i dont think you get teleported to it since you played the game before on a stream

another newgen filtered by world defense PEAK 🌹(but in all seriousness here's a tip: dont destroy your stuff that got damaged and instead place next unit behind them, as it provides a bait later on for bosses to stall them(P.P.S.:99% of the units,if not good, are at least usable. They just excel at different niches or/and have an actual skill ceiling to them)
The games defiantly different from the typical TD game, but I'm happy to see you branch out.

I thought towers upgraded the exact same way when i tried the game out, learned in the tutorial the hard way
Main way this game should be played is with others, as it is meant to be played with friends, with solo being much more challenging. Main thing you need to avoid death is not deleting old units unless they take important spaces, the old units will stay as baits and meatsheilds for the better units to have extra time to shoot/kill bigger enemies

Trust me you gotta actually GRIND for this game, but atleast it's unique but Fun Fact: there was a Battle cats map called "Japan", it's gone but you had to use moving towers only!
No, it’s still in the game but it got remastered so it doesn’t look as much like battle cats, still has the same remix tho

Hey, I could help you out if you ever feel like trying the game again. Its pretty difficult in solo, especially as a newer player as the game is mostly balanced around 2-4 players, but once you unlock stronger units and accessories you can solo most easier modes, even on harder maps without much issue.
I could probably grab one of the devs and carry you through most of the game if you really wanted, but you wouldnt learn much from that as again, the game is pretty tough in later mode and requires skill instead of obligatory overpowered units.
Yeah, as a pro player, being new to the game was a struggle, so I could help him as well.

I mean by far, they haven't been trying to be toxic about the gameplay. A lot of them agree the game is meant to be hard so I don't know.

Yeah, the comments and discord didn't go into much detail like that because it already assumes basic common sense for those that have played the game. It didn't do a good job at explaining to someone who is brand spanking new.
@@CyberHaptic- this game is notoriously hard, and yeah the progression sorta sucks (as in getting better towers and buffing accessories) and the lack of tutorial doesn't help

Very true, i played when missions weren't here, it was really hell for me as a new player. But i did comeback somewhere during late 2023.
Btw doomspires a harder map on normal maps its an M-Menace which is slower and weaker this maps actually quite hard

@@CyberHaptic- for example on desert and cres M-Raiders are replaced by cavalry riding horses and on some maps some bossees get replaced by diffrent varients. and even in rare cases some boss theme s change. and on some maps like island and cres enemies coming from the furthest spawn have an hp boost

ohhhh i remember playing this game a couple years ago but then i quit. couple years later and then they wiped my progress so that was fun. at least i somehow got a cool hat that i could flex on ppl. anyways yea this game is super difficult to solo and requires u to get teammates so i didnt bother playing it much

cyberhaptic both not realizing that the units you place don't automatically get upgraded once you upgrade and the upgraded ones have to be spawned different from the non-upgraded ones for 8 minutes AND that he was playing on a special map with modified enemies straight was just a pain to watch

The towers are unique and USUALLY theyre useful at one point or another, but the models are uhh questionable.. (suggestive models in a kids game 🔥), game is also just kind of unfair at points

All i can help you with is do not solo trying solo until you have special units and tokens is going to be pain for you or use guides on youtube bcuz this game is not begginer friendly
Hey cyber! I can help you with this game cause i have everything except admin stuffs , Lmk if you need help.
I don't know if you know this already, but there's accessories you can equip from a guy near a door that buffs/debuffs your units in the game. You'll start of with Classic Cap at first which is really helpful since you'll mainly have credz units before you beat casual. Also assuming you haven't watch videos about W:TD yet, baiting is integral in this game, and fun fact you can delay menace by baiting infinitely. Not a great option but if you need more time it's always an option (It won't work on future bosses for reasons you'll find out when you get to them). Anyways have a wonderful time playing the game, if your willing to continue of course.

@@CyberHaptic- yup,if you ever try and join that hellhole of a server you will probably be treated well just because your an youtuber, i myself go bullied A TON when i was a beginner,and i can say a lot of people suffered the same experience as me.

Tips on wtd:
Hello iam a person with 458 hours on the game (not a joke) judging by expierence here some amazing tips
1. Dont sell old units automatically there good meatshield with extra firepower (destroying wont benefit you at all) also if your at limit then you can sell the weaker ones
2. Eco get economy units such as bussiness man or farmer (farmer is a frontline unit bussiness man is a back line unit
3. Bait the bosses (lol the the 1st boss out of 4 bosses you beat) anyways bait the bosses this could lead to more time leading to more eco
4.do not under any circumstance to put your units on enemy spawns this will speed up the game leading to less money by money per sec
5. Do not use moving units for early (ik you dont have this but if your going back note this tip) there powerful but when there killed you practically lose all fire power to the first boss
6. Learn about traits units and enemy alike have traits (basically pokemon types)
7. Enemy resistance aka the thing below the enemy hp which will tell you what there strong to or what there weak too

Tip of the day: Please, buy farmer. Its important since max level can kill the M-Menace easier (and desert is easier to play on.)

This game is heavily based on teamwork, so probably if you are going to play again, you need to find somebody you can play with or atleast have a friend to progress with (or you can play random matches where people allow you to join/help you.) also don't do doomspire, even tho its a easy map its a easy map it has buffed enemies /variants which is pretty hard to deal with. I would do like desert or a map people recommend (also get destructor you'll need it for progressing) you get it by dumping 1k or 2k cash into a dumpster. Have a great journey through this game!

I mean, you can solo a few modes(casual, burden and maybe some more) usually using credz units by following a strat for beating burd n stuff, though you won't reach too far. You could also play some games, or talking to people ingame to eventually find someone who likes to play with you and (maybe just friend you). For teamwork, uhhhhjjjhhjhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Just enjoy the game withsome one, it doesn't matter as long as you have fun and are with a person (who is fine with it), just find what you enjoy innthe game, and it's fine if you won't play it again, don't be too focused on progression or technicality and have fun
Avoid doing Industry,Doomspire and other stuff if you're new
World tower defense is a good game. I personally dont like it i ended up quitting a long time ago. Mainly because its so ANNOYINGLY DIFFICULT. Which i get is what the devs are going for but theres so much stuff going on to i can focus
The problem the way you played was that you kept on destroying units in the early game. In this game, you're kind of supposed to build onto your current defense and, when you can't anymore, replace older, weaker units with your newer, stronger ones.

aviod playing in doomspare world tower defense has replacements enemy in most every map,suggest to play in desert it's the best map for beginner
as for how to process you really need to know what enemies can do so you can ananylis on how to defend,press F to see thier stat on both towers and enemys
the machanic in the game is prevent you to doing things easy specificy bait and upgarde without placement cd it will make you able to bait something forever

I had no idea of this at the time. I tried on my own time and even though I kept them the second time around. I still lost. The issue is still there regardless.

One time I tried soloing casual with alt units but I still failed because of the goofy conehead wave attack which wiped everything. But that only ever happaned like once or twice

I love WTD, only issue is the balancing is ass. The meta is tight and strict and has no leeway for unique strategy for early game modes. But yeah best td besides that.
