In the interior of the new Astra Plug-in Hybrid you will experience future-oriented design and class-leading innovations. The fully digital Opel Pure Panel provides clear and concise information for the driver. The ergonomic active seats are covered with high-quality Alcantara or nappa leather and have a massage and ventilation function .
The heart of the innovative Astra Plug-in Hybrid is a 12.4 kWh lithium-ion battery, which is located below the passenger compartment. This ensures maximum space in the interior and luggage compartment - and a low center of gravity for excellent driving dynamics.
When you drive the Astra Plug-in Hybrid, you experience uncompromising performance and efficiency - with a powerful system output of 133 kW (180 hp) . Under the hood, a dynamic 1.6 turbocharged petrol engine works in perfect harmony with an 81kW electric motor and engages automatically to ensure the best balance between efficiency and performance.
The electronically controlled 8-speed automatic transmission with its shift paddles offers a sporty driving experience with smooth transitions and spontaneous throttle response.
Electric mode: the standard mode only activates the electric motor, for driving without CO 2 emissions and without any noise
Hybrid mode: always in the most efficient drive through the optimal combination of controlled fuel consumption and driving performance
Sport mode: the power of the combustion engine and the power of the electric drive for a more dynamic drive
The Astra Plug-in Hybrid's regenerative i-Booster system enables passive energy recovery while driving. The energy generated by braking is converted via the i-Booster to partially charge the battery. The i-Booster also switches on when the vehicle coasts and when you let go of the gas pedal (so-called "one pedal driving"), thus optimizing the range.
The adaptive Intelli-Lux LED Pixel Matrix light is groundbreaking in the compact class. There are 84 LED elements in each headlight, which adapt to the traffic conditions by automatically switching off individual units. This significantly improves visibility in the dark and enables permanently glare-free high beam for vehicles ahead and oncoming vehicles.
Intelli-Drive integrates Lane Keeping Assist, which the Astra uses to gently correct the steering to keep you in lane.
A lane change assistant is integrated, which informs you if another vehicle is approaching from behind or driving in your blind spot.
A traffic alert warns you of anything approaching from up to 40 meters away when reversing, including cyclists or pedestrians.
The 360-degree Intelli-Vision camera is activated automatically when you shift into reverse. Four cameras show the area around your Astra in real time and in HD quality, making parking child's play, even in the tightest of spaces.
Intelli-Drive 2.0 1 is the interaction of Opel's most advanced and intuitive assistance technologies. The system integrates several functions, including Cornering Speed Adaptation (CSA), which calculates and adjusts the Astra's acceleration at high cornering speeds to ensure maximum comfort and control. Another feature is Advanced Intelligent Speed Adaptation (A-ISA), which monitors road signs and offers appropriate deceleration or acceleration, even compensating for weather conditions. Intelli-Drive 2.0 also has a semi-automatic lane change assistant (SALC) that recognizes lane changes and can take over the steering for you.

I think the lane centring feauture is an option with Inteli-drive 2.0, the standard 1.0 of the Ultimate only has the bouncing off the lines feature. I think that's a little strange for a ~50k car since our DS3 Crossback already had that feature years ago and I dearly miss it on our current last gen Astra. We're getting the new PHEV Astra next week and I'm going to double check whether we have the Intelli-drive 2.0 because I wan that feature back. It really makes highway driving much less fatiguing.

@@SDADanCars agreed but we've since took delivery of ours and afaik it has 1.0 but lane centering does work and it works well.
the thing is: it doesn't work incruise controll mode. it works in drive assist mode.
      maybe that was your problem?
