Made this for Thanksgiving (2023) and it was a hit! I didnt use chicken, i used my homemade turkey breakfast patties instead. No celery but everything else on the recipe and it was beautiful. Thank you!

No, no, no. I make dressing from scratch outside of the hellidays. I freeze leftover cornbread cooked in a spider skillet thru the year just to make dressing thru the year. It's August 8th, 2024 and I'm making some cornbread dressing today for a dinner party this coming Saturday. Pro tip- I make/made chicken stock from scratch just to add to my dressing. I also bought, cleaned and froze some fresh cranberries this past winter and I'm defrosting some of those cranberries now to make cranberry sauce to go with my dressing.

I been dry brining a hen, a small, bone in pork butt and a chuck roast for 2 days in my garage frig. The meat getting seared n cooked this evening
