I grew up on pantera seen them twice live, I love those 2 guys , legends nobody will ever sound close to dime , it's hard to believe they're both gone, rip brothers
being turned down 27 or 28 times. 297 shows in a year. Hard f*cking work, commitment and a whole lot of perseverance, it take all this to be successful and these guys, like Type O Negative, knew it and they made it. You gotta respect that.
The tour that Vinnie talks about at 6:30 was the first time I saw Pantera. I was 10 years old and my Dad took me to see them. One of the most awesome things I've ever experienced. My most vivid memory from that night was the crowd looking like a fucking tidal wave during 'Becoming'. AMAZING!
This is awesome, seriously one of the best most chill interviews I’ve ever seen with the Abbott brothers-thank you for posting all these, really really appreciate it
It's awesome hearing how they were just normal dudes and got signed like that because they kicked ass live. Dreams do come true man. I need to get some shit rolling with my music.
I bet my bottom dollar that each and every 27 of those Loser labels are are kicking their own asses is this for not signing the greatest metal band of all time. Pantera!! RE-SPECT 👊 R.I.P Brothers Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul Abbott ♥️.
Had to stop it @ 3:40, time to get back to work but that's a good story. Had no idea...rotten judge of talent coming out of the big cities. A&R people, lemme tell ya

Two of the coolest fellas in music (R.I.P.) Darrell & Vinnie. Cheers & Peace.

Did you become a success
Am I the only one who thinks how lucky those interviewers were to talk to the two parents of the group metal?
Besides Michael Anthony, does anyone no 2 guys that are more "down to earth" than these 2 guys that are fuking gods in my eyes.

Pantera would have never been signed without Gentle Giant. Fuckin Derek Shulman.
