I was on Triphasil contraceptives and there were no complications (no weight issues, normal periods, no pimples), actually, oh my God... I loved what they did to my skin as well, they just gave me that extra glow! And I didn't even use medical aid for them, I'd just get them at a local clinic once in 3 months! I mean why would I want to pay for something I could get for mahala!! Lol. I stopped using them in October 2022 after moGuy paid lobola!

I’m on the implant . I used to have a heavy flow and now I get my periods once every two months and when they come it’s more like spotting which usually lasts for a day or two . Also I don’t get period pains anymore 😊.

As for easing period pains I never really wanna take any meds
I prefer hot bath/shower,workout & relax or sleep with hot water bottle obviously with a hot cup of hot chocolate/any tea.
Contraceptives I never liked them but I ended up trying them just to gain good skin “that helped me” within less than a week and I stopped them😂Id honestly never advice anyone to take them😅because what’s the point of preventing unwanted pregnancy but you don’t prevent unwanted diseases and HIV,you feel me?so yeah
Right now what makes me happy is romanticising myself with an awesome bath, cooking, journaling and shopping

Firstly, I am soooo happy you had this sit down with Ndza❤‍🔥 I used to suffer from serious period pains and I took grandpa for like the first day of Japan - only that day - for the whole cycle. I used it for close to a year and thereafter, I hardly ever get pains hey, just a little bit of discomfort here and there but extremely manageable even without pain killers.
I am also considering PREP - the injection method of it calls I'm already on pills (contraceptives) so I aint be wanting more of that. Hope we are able to talk about that one time .

Ladies thank you for the girls talk, mina I was on a pill and stopped using it, because my coochie was always like moist n I would change panty liners atleast 3 times a day n I stopped, then I used iud after my second born son,for 3years it was all good I couldn't feel any pains even during honky dory, but the 4th year I started feeling pains during honky dory so Im now on a 2 months injection so far I'm ok,I suffer from period pains as well I also use nurofen period pain tablets. I enjoy the long bubble bath with candles on,a glass of wine or bubbly, sexy lingerie etc.
