@@tsmiff1 You can't....you have to convert the front axles to manual locking hubs.

The dash says my 05 h2 gets closer to 16 at 75 on the freeway and 12 in town. I used to live in an area with very steep and winding roads with a max speed possible of about 35mph and I only got about 6.5-7 mph. I put an LQ9 in it when I bought it though because the engine was blown, literally. It had about an 8” hole out both sides of the block. High water. Lol

I HAD facebook.com/cziparperformance. DO THE TUNE FOR ME. HAD TO MORE FOR FUEL MILEAGE DIDNT NEED A RACE CAR. NO LONGER HAVE THE TRUCK SOMEONE OFFERED ME WAY TO MUCH MONEY AND I LET IT GO. ILL GET ANOTHER ONE SOMEDAY.

It def helps. but even with how much it helps it still sucks the gas like its going out of style. I unfortunately traded her in for something much better on fuel :(

LET THE FUEL SETTLE AND THEN TOP IT OFF SO ITS FULL WITHOUT FORCING FUEL IN IT

Look into a NNBS intake manifold from a 08-13 Silverado/sierra

The real reason it does so crappy on mpg on the highway is you can’t go 2WD ever. Gonna DMAX swap mine, should get like 20mpg highway then
😂If you bought it for gas mileage you bought the wrong thing💪Made to be a beast and getting 15-17 mpg in mine with 251k on the motor and still runs like new!
@@mildtowildrc7343 no one buys a Hummer for the gas mileage. I’m diesel swapping because the motor can go 500k plus easy and the increased torque. I wanna hear the turbo whistle in any truck I drive. 2WD has other benefits as well. I plan on keeping mine forever so when this 6.0 goes I’m gonna lift the cab off and drop in an LBZ with an Allison.
@@TylerScow it’s like $25k if you do it yourself and build the engine with forged internals. Just gotta find the donor truck for like $15k tops. A new truck is more that $30k anyways and I love my hummer
YES I HAVE SEEN THESE WITH THE DMAX SWAP AND THEY ARE AWESOME!! MAYBE ONE DAY ILL HAVE ONE WITH A DURMAX IN IT. HELL MAY BE EASIER TO SHOVE THE 3.0L IN ONE INSTEAD OF THE 6.6. WHO KNOWS MAYBE ONE DAY WE WILL SEE IT DONE.
