Mulisha Hunter is right. Calvert avoided Blackwood. Blackwood took at Calvert with his left leg. Very obvious on the replay.
Watch only Calvert and he tries but maybe not hard enough to avoid Blackwood. Watch only Blackwood and it looks like he may have tried to trip Calvert. I think the right call was made.
I honestly don't think either tried to trip to the other. Blackwood definitely didn't do that on purpose, I replayed it and watched them both individually as suggested above me and it looks like blackwood is watching his pass as he's about to take a stride backwards back to the crease that's when the skates connect, definitely not on purpose

More like Blackwood taking out Calvert...went right into his lane and stuck his leg out causing Calvert to trip. Easy no call and these announcers don't know what the hell they're talking about
