Power Rangers, an immensely popular set of TV series from the 90s, naturally spawned a massive number of tie-in products. Given the nature of the show, it should not be surprising that a good number of beat-'em-up games are counted amongst their number. There are a total of five levels and two follow-up robot fights in this game.
Here the author chooses to take no damage in an effort to make the run more entertaining (an estimated 5-6 seconds could be saved by taking damage).

You press Up + Attack to shoot an arrow... but that attack is weak ^^; Oddly enough, Zack doesn't have his gun mode :P

Trying to figure out what process the game is doing during vblank that’s regularly overrunning the processing time it has by *just enough* to cause the first scan line to flicker fairly often. Maybe it’s a sound effect thing, or having to newly load those frankly huge sprites into video memory? Obviously it’s something you wouldn’t see on a CRT, so it doesn’t affect anything; it’s just fun to see what the overscan hides sometimes.
Edit: it seems to do it the most in the opening level, which has roads and cars and parallex, so I’m sure that’s probably contributing a lot. Oh, and the megazord boss’s warp-in animation is especially taxing.

I remember beating this game during a party when I was in 1st grade. My friends and cousins watched me make it through halfway and didn't believe me when I told them I made it to the end and defeated the final boss 😂

Kimberly is the best for speedrun, because more range than other characters.
in Power Rangers The Movie, she & Aisha have best running speed.
