Great job Jamie I just want to say for transfer students applying to Colorado state you did not need an essay you do if you want to you can do the academic exclamation that is if you had like not so good grades in the past and there’s also a spot if you took a year off and then you do not have to have a letter of recommendation if your transfer student and test scores are optional but definitely do the early action or the regular decision because scholarships are going And a little later this year I’m not sure but just wanted to throw that out there to all the transfer students who might be wanting to apply

I never got to go to college. My son is a junior in high school and interested in attending csu after he graduates in 2024. He is active in marching band and all state honor band and has been taking ap and honors classes. Where do we begin? How soon does he apply to attend csu? Their marching band program and bachelor degree offerings is what got our interest. Also we are in c springs so in state tuition helps.

I'm a senior in HS rn doing research and stuff
I'm glad you and your son have a bit of a head start! That's awesome! I'd recommend maybe start looking into a few other college options as well if that's feasible. Since he's just a junior he has some time still so don't stress about it too much
Maybe encourage him to start thinking about a major as well since that can be pretty important in looking at colleges
