Dee Manhattan is expensive. Cross County , yonkers is convenient. Its neighbor to Bronx and Mt. vernon. Lots of inexpensive Jamaican restaurants.

Dee , first always wear your pocket book in front of you and second in NY you have to go to Flatbush Ave in Brooklyn and White plain rd above Gunhill rd lead on to Mount Vermont
