    There is actually a tap tempo where you can choose the exact tempo lol. Definitely do NOT go on this review. This thing is super easy to use. Especially if you’ve ever used any looper before. This thing is dead simple. He’s just not actually intuitive himself lol. Go find a video where the person actually shows how easy it is to use. Horrible review, when you literally have no idea what you’re doing. Then blaming the pedal lol.

    The company M-Vave produced an equal product, named Lost Tempo, in its second version (V2) they added a TAP button for fine adjustment of the drum speed in BPM. This version is more intuitive because the instructions are printed on the pedal itself.

    It's crazy how nice the zoom pedal is for home practice. Until i want to start gigging and dialing in a pedal setup for that i really don't have a reason to use anything else, it lets me experiment with tone, practice to a metronome, play with loops.

    Very useful review. Thanks man, I think I would have had a similar frustrating experience if I bought it.

  • @horacio_llegolamiel3758

    same experience.. I was hoping you had figure it out

    I’m backwards, I use to play in the school band so I am use to the beat of a metronome. Now that I play bass I’m a lot more intimidated by a drummer or drum machine. When I play along with a song, I listen to the drums but not if I’m practicing. Either way this drum looper does not seem worth it! I might consider the zoom pedal though!

      Buy a drummachine,im a lone player, so here in the caribbean we play large varierity of genere, loopers cant work,

    From what I saw in your vid I’d say the issues you had were probably quality ones. I think one of the foot switches wasn’t working every time you pressed as if you’ve ever used a one switch drum machine or loop pedal, the operation of this one is pretty straightforward and intuitive. I don’t blame you for not recommending it as yours didn’t really work but I think it’s unfair to say it’s not an intuitive unit.

      Given how poorly written (or translated) the instructions are, I stand by my assessment.

    The great thing about musicians being mostly luddites, they soon off-load anything that requires a double-digit IQ to operate. I have some _real_ bargains 👍

    I use the old digitech trio band creator,and yet that is limited,cause in the caribbean we play diffrent music,cant work no looper,so i hhad to buy a drummachine,to program my latino music,all are waste of money,

    O GOD NO I Just ordered one and im realy not that good with theses things JEASUUUUUUUS man can this thing be pluged in to a guitar amp ??????? theres a nother guy on here and he's got it pluged in to a RINKEDINK SPEEKER and a home made banjo good info but not at all what i was hoping for on a run down on this thing
    thanks

    • @ampthebassplayer
      @ampthebassplayer  Před rokem

      Yeah it can be plugged into an amp. The drums will be affected by your amp’s tone so if that’s where your distortion is happening, then the drums will be distorted. Hopefully you have more luck figuring it out than me!

    "What, why??"
    Sums up Chinese products generally imho.
    For what its worth .. these are decent enough but the learning curve is on a par with Linux.

    I don’t know how they didn’t google and realize quintron already developed an amazing machine called the drum buddy like 25 years ago.

  • @PaulTheSkeptic
    @PaulTheSkeptic Před rokem

    Yeah, it's difficult to learn. Very difficult. You have to hold it down for one second to stop it. Try watching the CZcams video about it. Keep in mind this has been rebranded a kajillion times. So it's under a different brand.

    • @ampthebassplayer
      @ampthebassplayer  Před rokem

      I’m not saying that it’s impossible to understand, I’m saying that it’s unintuitive. I don’t want to have to take a crash course on what should be a very simple pedal to operate.

    • @PaulTheSkeptic
      @PaulTheSkeptic Před rokem

      @@ampthebassplayer I agree. I was just trying to help but if you have some other thing that does that, maybe that's better. I have a version of this. But I'm thinking of buying the Donner one. The drums sound so good. At least in the Amazon video they do. Lol.

    • @PaulTheSkeptic
      @PaulTheSkeptic Před rokem

      It's not the best pedal in the world and he's right. It is very difficult to understand and learn. But if you need a looper with drums and you don't have a lot of money, you can't do much better for the price.
